We split with Cascade so that appears to make them more of a threat. However, I think Van Buren is a big physical and good shooting team that can beat anyone. Cascade just has the advantage because we have all grown up playing each other. No real surprises. I wish us all great success in the tourneys. Go Rockets!

I agree with the top four teams in the district right now. We are improving every game and our last game has been our best yet. I know we have some AAA games coming up this weekend. I hope it helps us more than it hurts us. I know it is good to play teams better than you but it seems like the last round at the La Vergne tournament we lost our grove and have just now gotten back.

Coming off of Christmas break everyone seems to find their rhythm and rotation and that is when things start heating up and getting interesting.

I started to refer to those Rocket games back 2 and 3 years ago because that is almost exactly what was happening then. I always thought our team would benefit more if Jenkins played under the basket and should have by all rights made a run at the state title. In my opinion our talent from 02-03 & 03-04 was the best we have ever had. The 04-05 season is when the Rockets started out really slow. They really did not start winning until after the Christmas break. And you are correct we did battle for the district title and went on to play in the regional tournament. Keep your heads up. With the talent potential you all have other there I believe your hard work will pay off.

That was a long bus ride. The game was closer that I think some expected. #10 for ClarkRange could shoot the lights out. I know he had most of their points. They had Shankle covered up most of the night, but he still managed double digits, and our outside shooting stepped up. Good luck to the Vikings this year!
