Great first half, that looked like the old Coach T and LC Falcons. I am a big enough person to say you proved me wrong. A little motivation goes a long way. One suggestion -- condition more, your big guys gave out in the second half. Stay motiavted the rest of the year. Congrats again.

By the way I had a player on one of the teams I coached that decided to go party with a older lady one night, and was drinking. The other coach of team and myself got wind of what was going on. Guess what we went to the house kicked the door in got our player and called the law on the lady. She was sentenced to time for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. As for the player he was a junior college prospect runnig back at that point. Since it was his first time that we had caught him, we suspended him for six games with him knowing that if it ever happened again he was gone no questions asked. Guess what that player went on and graduated the next year and played major college football and is now a pastor of a church. I talked to him recently and he told me that what we did was the best thing that had ever happened to him and helped him straighten his life out. He made the statement that he never drank again because he knew we meant exactly what we had said. Amazing---- a little tough love goes a long way doesn't it.

Were the police not called and were they not drunk and causing a disturbance. Seems to me like that is what happened and the sad thing is they where at one of the parents houses--- I sure hope it wasn't your house since you see no problem with what they done. I have always heard the apple doesn't fall far from the tree so where does that put you?????????????

I have no problem with the the players/children you call them that are doing what is right. I do have a problem with the ones that are using all the foul language , drinking, getting arrested and acting like punks and I have a problem with the coaches doing some things they are doing. I just wish Coach T would stand up and take care of these problems. If he does this I will back him 100% and will see that the GREATNESS is still there.

I have one final comment ------new young energetic coaching staff with good discipline and you will see things turn around in a heart beat for Lincoln County and I would hope that is what everyone wants.

Very easy to correct get rid of trouble makers no matter whose son or daughter they are. It won't take but one time of doing this for the rest of the players to find out HEY COACH ISN"T GOINT TO PUT UP WITH THIS, we better straighten up or we are gone ----VERY SIMPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The coach is in charge and he can say whose stays and goes and he can't then there are big problems.

Explain to me why other coaches don't have this problem with kids that you are talking about. There is no proper chain of command in LC, I know this for a fact because I was once a part of the system.

I wish you knew what you were talking about but aparently you don't have a clue. I was born and raised here and followed Lincoln County when it was Central and Billy Joe Evans was a coach. Followed it when John Medows was the coach, now there is a great coach. I was in the stands when Tim Johnson scored in overtime to win LC's first State Champioship. You want to open your mouth and talk about something you know little about so lets hear it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just stating the facts people---- My God It Is No Wonder LC is having problems----- Everyone wants to turn away from what is happening. SEE NO EVIL HEAR NO EVIL so it guess it is not there. If you don't like what is happening get and do something about and quit living in the glory years of the past. Lincoln County has the talent something and somrthing causing them not to get the job done. I have done nothing but state the facts, if it hurts I am sorry but sometimes the truth hurts.

For you information 2priceless, I have never drank, smoked or do I intend to start. That is a bad example for the players and the young people of the community. That is something that can't be said about some of the coaches of LC. Need I say all you have to do is go to the fair and find some of the coaches and see what they are drinking. Now that is really setting an example for their players. Please if you are going to drink don't do it public where the players and others in the community can see you. And while we are at it some of the foul language I have heard coming from some of the players. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It hurts to know time has passed the GREAT ONE by, wake up it happens, it even hapened to Bear Bryant and it didn't mean he was a great coach just like it doesn't mean Coach T has not done great things in the past. He is respected for what he has done just like the Great Bear Bryant was and still is. The fact is what has LC done recently --- the talk around the state is average team every year always makes playoffs and usaully goes out first round or second round. If you do a little research you can figure out who I coached for --- try looking in the 90's and see what team had the winningest percentage in the state all classifications including private schools. By the way we beat the Falcons in the 90's when Coach T was at his prime. This is not just something that has happened to Coach T alone, it has happened to many high school and college coaches, it is just a fact of life you lose the eye of the tiger. You need to get out and talk to some of the players and see what is going on.

Falcon Mom respect is earned and not given. I have no problem given respect when it earned and the fact is right now there is no respect being earned with the things that are going and have gone. I do respect the players that go out and practice everyday and do their job on Friday night . these players also set a good example for the younger kids durning the week, and there are players on this team that do that every week, and they know who they are and I say amen to them. I say again the players that got caught last year should have been tossed from the team and this would not be a thing that has happened two years in a row. What kind of example is that setting for the young players coming up. If my son had been one of the ones that was caught last year, I would have pulled him from the team myself and Coach T would not have had to worried about it. How many years have you got coaching? You see I have twenty years of coaching experience in football track, softball and speed strength in three states. I have be associated with great and not so great coaches. I have also been to the state championship on numerous occasions. I have been a defensive coordinator and a offensive coordinator and a athletic director and believe me I know when play calling stinks and a team has no motivation and LC had has a bad case of it. I will assure you that Lincoln County is very political and it dictates a lot of things that go on. You ask how I know, because I taught in the Lincoln County and experienced the politics in the county system. It seems their was a basketball coach that quit a few years ago because someone in the administration came to them and told them who would play and who would not play. I know you hate to admit it but it goes on all the time in LC. You can turn a blind eye to it if you want or you can wake up and smell the roses. If you want the team to be average and never see the state championship again, then stay with what you have that is your choice. I want more from LC and the players deserve more, all of the players no matter whose son or daughter they are Oh by the way, I also have an administration and supervision certificate so you see I know what is going-------WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess the Coach T supporters are so blinded by his GREATNESS they can't see what is really going on. I grant you parents are not doing enough but that is not the problem here. If you are a good coach and you have kids that are causing a problem----GET RID OF THEM-----, no matter whose son they are and that includes mine. I would rather have 11 players that want to play than 30 that wants to do their own thing. Quit playing the political game and play the best players and by the way that is not my son and I am okay with that. If a player screws up get rid of him. Lets see, last year did several players get drunk and get arrested? Yes they did!!!!!!!! What was their punishment, suspended one game----SLAP ON THE HAND, guess why because of who they were and they were starters. The sad thing is this was the second time some of these players have done this. Instead of slapping them on the hand and saying little Billy don't do this again, these players should have been dismissed from the team. Now that would have been a GREAT COACH saying this is something that we are not going to put up with. As for the predictable plays you are so wrong there. I wonder how many years of coaching you have under your belt, I am sure none and it shows. When I can sit in the stands along with others and call his plays, what few he has, before the ball is snapped something is wrong. Did you ever think it might be real easy for the other team to stop plays if their players know what is going to be run before the ball even is snapped. Lets address another problem and that is coaches on staff. I will not call any names but their are two possibly more that should been fired along time ago for the things that they have done and are still doing. Now that is really a head coach in charge, letting this go on. What a example this sets for the players. Many people in LC that read this will know who they are. Now lets talk about motivation, it starts at the top and works its way down. Guess what the head ball coach does not have it any more. As a coach you have to be excited and always looking for ways to motivate your players and this is not happened in LC. Just watch the team and coaches walk on to the field before and duing the game---real exitement---not with LC. I guess many of the fans have gotten use to being average and that is all you are going to get till some changes are made. I will say again at one time Coach T was one of the greatest and no one is trying to take that away from him, but time has passed him by and he is not the first coach to have have lost the edge and won't be the last. It is a fact of life, it happens. So come on people of LC lets make some changes and get LC back to its GLORY DAYS. ssed from the team

He is not the first coach that this has happened to and won't be last and if you where very knowledgable of football you would know this.. Come on DACatfish get your head out of your butt and look around in the pitt on friday nights, a lot more people realize what has happened. I grant you Coach T was a great coach at one time not any more. He is just average now. He is so predictable that you can scout his plays by watching one quarter. He has lost that drive and excitment that makes a coach great. Also when players are getting by with things if causes problems with the entire team and there is a lot of head turning going on by the staff.
