  1. McKenzie went 2-1 beating bolivar 7-0, Crockett County 10-7, and losing to lexington 14-7.
  2. McKenzie played in a jamboree type game at Crockett county against Bolivar, Lexington, and Crockett County. McKenzie went 2-1 beating bolivar 7-0, Crockett County 10-7, and losing to lexington 14-7.
  3. Yes i understand...but...if the lines succeed and the defense comes through...can they be a stunning force?
  4. bump...Duckman...where you at brotha?
  5. What do you guys think about this possible "deadly" combination?
  6. bump bump...lets get this back started guys
  7. Hey rebel fans! sorry i've been gone for so long, just haven't had time to throw in some posts. As far as information, just makin sure that all you rebel fans knew about www.mckenzierebels.com Jim Steele does a very good job at covering ALL mckenzie athletics but he really does an exceptional job with the football pics. If you haven't checked it out, then check it out! thumb
  8. How has McKenzie been doing in the passin league scrimmages? I haven't gotten a chance to make any. I heard that they were scorching teams on offense but just thought i would ask to clear things up.
  9. It feels good to be back on the boards at coacht. When I get back on the boards that means one thing....It's Football Time In Tennessee. First i would just like to say that I believe McKenzie will surprise many of the hometown fans who dog every mckenzie year simply because their son was somebody who tried to be somebody in a horrible year of 2-8 or 3-7. The leadership of this mckenzie team is so much in contrast of the horrible leadership they had last year. There is NO complaining on the field from the time they step out until they step back in. This is the first year they have had captains on the team since the last visit to the TSSAA Semi-Finals. They have two captains with hearts of gold and pride of steel in Hayes and Pruitt, they two leading players returning from last years season. As far the offensive and defensive line...we'll have to see when we get there. But if you ask me, i think the big hog-molley's will show some toughness and heart up there in the trenches this year.
  10. yeah...ok Bobby im glad you were just such an AWESOME player and everything when you played back in "The Dark Ages", but i mean heck if you know so much, why don't you just c'mon down to the 50 and put you some headgear on and be the coach then? And as far as this Cody mess, he missed a whole week of practice because his leg got "frogged". I mean c'mon the faking ends somewhere.
  11. I'm not sure if his time is correct but Greg Pruitt of McKenzie runs a 4.4 i believe.
  12. I think that it is going to be a very fun game to watch. What does OC like to do this year i didn't go see them at the jamboree this year. OC and MHS have built up a fun first week rivalry if you ask me. Its always a good way to start the season between the two teams....Good Luck Rebels (haha which one?) I bet $200 to ANYONE that the Rebels win
  13. Tonight there was some very good football action down in the valley. McKenzie looked pretty good and looks as though they are going to hold their ground this year. The rebels had a touchdown that was taken away from the by a bonehead call from the refs. Also during the game a touchdown pass was dropped by one of the rebel receivers. Lexington was VERY lucky to escape with a jamboree Victory. Keep playin rebs because tonight was yours!!!
  14. I just have a few quick questions. I have been gone out of the state and I normally attend the Passing League games, how has my Rebels of McKenzie been looking? How are they receivers doing. I know my brother said that Camden football better not be shyed away this year. He said that Boyd and many others have beefed up and look ready to go. I am excited about this years football season like always, 2A football is the best there is!
  15. Just wondering who were some good sophomores in west tennessee. My vote would be Drew Hayes from McKenzie. Very good athlete.
