I didn't say he wasn't successful, Chris Travis (NCS03). All I was saying is that it would be impressive, very impressive if he could make the NCS girls competitive. If I asked the question on the girls board no NCS fan would respond because no one cares about their girls program because it is not winning, and you could tell that by your reaction NCS03. Just because the Anderson's went to coach at NCS doesn't mean that Jarett would have to leave. I mean if you had to chose between the two schools athletically and academically who would you chose?

Why did J. Anderson leave MBA...was he not a Gentleman or Scholar? How is Coach Anderson handling the girls team. It must be tough to lose when you have been so successful. Let me hear some responses Eagle Fans.

The cougars play Father Ryan and Montessori Academy their next two games. Lipscomb sent their "hatchet" man to take Daniels out of the game and it worked to perfection. Congrats to the Mustangs on a great game plan "HACK A SHAQ"

Cougar Bob will have the Twin Towers ready. If you doouble Daniels then Frye will kill you. Lipscomb will not want to zone because it is not in their system. They would rather lose playing man. You may be right on the guards but Craig will play all 32 minutes and make you work on both ends of the floor. GO BIX

IF anyone has seen the Eagles schedule this year we now know why they will be 22-5. I think Grace Baptist is non TSSAA like Metro Baptist. How does Coach Anderson like coaching the girls? I know he hates to lose.

Zach Frey from Goodpasture is solid now and will only become better. Stands at 6'7 with room to grow.

Who have they scrimmaged? Hillwood...pretty weak. Who else. Last Coach got screwed by the administration. Good Luck Coach B at BMS!!!

I heard Dever had 26 against MBA yesterday with 8-3pointers. Sounds like he could take some pressure off Daniels. Watch for Zach Frey as the next guy for the cougars.,

Hey Doc - don't you think they would have already hired Jay. It should have been a quick hire. Two names I have heard are Fred Lane Sr. (if he wants it) or Jerry Meyer. Let me know what the people in Old Hickory think about it. It is also pretty early for a Doc to be on the computer this early in the morning!!

Clint Mason (Belmont Assistant)was rumored to be interviewing this past week. If hired would be a good addition to the CU athletic program.

I am a man and not some Senior at NCS or some player on the team who may wear #3 for NCS and possibly has two older sisters. Does that sound like you NCS03? I was wrong. Saw it with my own eyes. The Eagles are for REAL. NCS fans here are some questions? 1.Who graduates this year? 2. Which Anderson is the Coach, looks like Chuck does a lot of coaching! 3. When did David Anderson become the "Real Deal" - He makes that team Go. 4.What was the key to the turnaround? - Coach Maples has to be scratching his head. I wish NCS all the luck and will see them in their "new" home gym CPA on Mon. By the way will NCS ever expand their gym and rename it "Anderson Fieldhouse"

Ezell may be 7-20 but all that matters is that they will be 8-20. Anderson may have the ring but will never get the Gold Ball... or District title

Summer was...let me think, about 6 months ago. Teams do improve! St marys kids go to Europe for the summer, not basketball camp.

Harding better enjoy Coach Froedden now, because next year he may be going to greener ($) pastures. If that happens the Lions may be in a heap of trouble. No one wanted to follow "Bear" Bryant and no one wants to follow The Little General.

Coach Mooneyham returns to his alma mater and former team to lead the Turkey's of St Marys to an upset victory over Harding!!! Harding should have ante up to keep Mooneyham in the fold when they had the chance.. I know for a fact that Coach Frodden is suffering from the loss.

The boys 8th grade game is at 7:00. Should be a classic. Coach McPherson may have a trick up his sleve to slow up BA. If not BA, by 15.

Watch out for the Woodland Warriors. The play 10 deep and are 6-0. Should have beat BMS by more than 8.

Is the yougest a ball player?

Hopkins never played at NCS. He left after 5th or 6th grade. His sister was good athlete who could of been a superstar at NCS but left her 8th grade year and played softball and soccer at Lipscomb HS.

What if NCS had former players Josh Stephens and Anthony Hopkins (Lipscomb) and Cody Willoughby (Davidson Academy) still at the school. They would be pretty good.

Footguy- You are correct in your statement. When you have had a proven winner with one coach and then get a new coach who makes you work twice as hard and only win 5 games it may make the players realize that playing sports is not only about winning but having fun while learning. And you know it is always fun to WIN!
