I would like to see Randy Newsome get the job too!!! I know that he has the support of many, many community members. Yet, everyday that goes by, our boys don't have a coach. What's taking so long?

Cannon does not have a lot of size. They make up for it in heart though. They play a team game instead of one person taking all the shots. They play good defense and can get down the court when they have to. This is why they are such a good team. Go Cannon!

The all district 7AA tourney team was Derek Ledbetter-York (MVP) Brian Jones-Cannon Dustin Jones-Cannon Jesse Owen-Cannon Travis Tate-York Robert Cravens-York Josh Stephens Jamie Gurley-Livingston Alan Asberry-Upperman Lance Mathis-Upperman I also think Kelly Leffew should have made it too.

Last night was a claasic game between Cannon County and York Institute. Both teams played their hearts out with York holding off a furious Cannon comeback. And after the game both teams stood up and cheered when the other received their plaques. They both showed great respect for each other. Congratulations to both teams and make 7aa proud in the regionals.

They don't get on here and run their mouths like a bunch of babies from other teams in the district (you know who you are) I was at the Cannon-York game last night and both teams showed a lot of sportsmanship. I applaud both of those teams. Besides these two teams and Smith County, the rest of the teams run their mouths too much.

I don't think the last 4 or five players on your list are right. There are other players in the district that are better than them. Look at a few from from Cannon or Dekalb.
