Freddy Bryant....I was just going to let you know if you worked on you new one handed 3 point shot half as much as you burnt coacht up, you might be unstopable. As far as the team goes, from what I have seen it looks as if Coach Winningham has lost control of his team. Rarely does he ever have his 5 best players in the game at the same time. I really dont know the situation, so there could be good reason why certain players rarely get to play anymore. So hopefully they will get things set straight by tourny time.

Kansas is rumored to be going after Coach Self from Illinois. If he decides to go this should open up a chance for Tom Crean to move up to the big ten. However, the big story is the players already committed and currently playing for Kansas mainly because of Roy Williams are put in a bad situation. I started this intensive argument by posting this thread..but still no love by giving me a good mark. Come on guys dont be so stingy.

I don't recall ever stating that AAU ball wasn't competive and intence. I was just saying that he is playing against kids 16 and under. I know that he is a great talent but I hate to hear such comparisons at a young age. Players get word of this and it pust extra pressure on sometimes makes them think they are already great and don't need to put in the extra work. I think we all read the post where Jamar Jenkins compared himself to Mcgrady. Brandon has all the tools to be a better player than Bosh and he does resemble his frame. All I was saying is don't fill players heads with things that alot of the time isn't true.

Ok I understand Gomab you are much more qualifed than me to rate talent, considering you had Tyler Smith 3rd overall soph. in the state. However, I saw Brandon Wright play several times this year and at times he strugled against talent not yet up to Acc caliber. I feel its hard to compare a player when he has stuggled in high school games, I am sure he is domintating in AAU, but he his playing against 16 and under. For once, admit you may be off the mark in your comparison.

I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone's opionin had changed on who should be the # 1 pick. Carmello Anthony is only a year older and his skills that look to be better and more polished than James. He has proven himself against the best the college ranks has to offer. If I had the # 1 pick I believe that I would take Anthony as my 1st pick. I don't see where James has any more potential than does Anthony. There is probally going to be no loser in this situation both look to be future stars.

I am sure you don't believe he is capable of playing at Tenn. but considering you have him ranked as the # 8 senior in the state you must have seen something in his game that I have missed. You have him ranked above Gasol? Care to explaine that one?

Brandon Wright looks as if he has all the potiential to be one of the best players to come out of Tenn. in a long time. However, Gomab comparing him to Chris Bosh is a bit ludacris he was the freshman of the year in the ACC and projected top 5 pick in the draft if he comes out. Hold off on a making him one the the nations top prospects long enough to see how his game progresses. If you are refering to just comparing thier size wouldn't you say that Wright resembles Tayshaun Prince's frame more? [Edited by Theanswer on 4-5-03 11:03P]

Yea, it would be nice to know that UT would be getting Pearson next year instead of Dane Bradshaw. Of coarse if you listen go gomab Bradshaw is one of the top players in the state. From what I have heard and seen from him, he has no business in the SEC.
