  1. Ragland and Stewart came through with key FT's down the stretch. Shelbyville had a double digit lead at one time, and that was when R/E decided to full court press. It messed Shelbyville up bad. They had trouble getting anything down the court. Then Barry Stewart got a few breakaways from the press and made R/E back off a little bit. Gross had a good game, even though getting blocked on a 3 on 2 fast break was embarrassing (Especially at about 6'8"). Shelbyville was shooting about 22 percent from the field after the 1st half, and R/E was about 20. It was pretty ugly 1st half. Shelbyville came through when it counted and now we have 1 more game where we are big underdogs in my eyes. Hamilton is amazing. Twilley and Stewart will have to have amazing games for a shot at the state championship. Shoot, when was the last time any team in AAA had both the girls and guys in the State championship games?
  2. Shelbyville plays Columbia today at 5:30 in Columbia and again tomorrow in Shelbyville. I think Columbia still has games with Lincoln Co. and Coffee Co. GO EAGLETTES!!!

LOL I hope to hear that you are going to continue at a 4 year school. Get ur education girl. Use your talent in ball to get an education and have fun doing it. I've heard rumors about MTSU is it true? Courtney's Dad

Many of the above are juniors and seniors this year. LOL Flyer--must be true!--I tried to get a complete list in the spring but never could--Coffee County, Columbia and Lincoln Co. fans, don't you want your players to get the recognition they deserve for their hard work? If you know the names of the missing players, pleeeeez add them to the thread. [Edited by ssdad4 on 10-5-02 1:00P]
  8. I am in total agreement with UT1st about Corey Curlee. She calls pitches well, has a great arm, and is a consistent hitter, as well as terrific baserunner. Lain, please explain your comment as it seems to be totally out of line!
