Maybe next time LA, keep your heads up Smith County played very well and look to be the team to beat in 7-AA this year. They have a great pitcher and they hit LA's great pitcher yesterday all over the field.

Billygoat can I ask you a simple question? Have you been to a Smith County game yet this year? If you have are the playing better than last year? Do they play harder than they did last year? I think the excitement about him and this program is that he cares about the game of basketball, he knows the game of basketball, he has learned a lot about basketball from some very good coaches along the. No there may not be any state championships won at Smith County in girls basketball but they will be better than they have been in the last couple of years. Give the guy credit whree credit is due he enjoys his job and he works very hard at what he does.

SCHS has plyed verywell the last three games and will hae to play very good tommorrow night aganist Macon to win but if they keep playing good defense and team basketball they have a good shot. Keep playing hard and doing the right things and good things will happen. Everyone in Carthage make the close trip to Macon tommorrow night to support the Owls and Owlettes in the finals at 6:30 and 8:00, should be two good games hopefully. The Owlettes beat an unbeaten Westmoreland tonight 47-40. The played well and did a good defensive job tonight keep up the good work!!!!!

Good win Owlettes you played hard after Coach Dodgen benched the starters in the first quarter, #30 did a good job last night picking up the slack. Comparing Tara to Ryan is not fair, both the boys and girls games are different and Tara and Ryan are two different types of players. But they both work hard and play hard and that is the basic facts.

How many Smith County games have you been to this year anyway? If that was the only one then fine but he has been active like that all year that is his personality. Also all parents and fans that are around at every game like his emotions for the game and how he keeps everyone excited and upbeat about the game and he does not sit down after the first two points of the game like the old coach did. Yes he may get over excited sometimes or whatever but if that;s how he coaches leave him alone. He did nothing to any parents, players or fans of gordonsville unlike what the fans of gordonsville had to say but I guess that was okay what they yell out right. Also is this what you guys will complain about now and say that is why Smith County won because the coach was excited and keep his team fired up during the whole game and not quit coaching, because after the first game it was that the refs cheated and won the game for SCHS. Coach Dodgen has done that all year he just keeps the crowd into the games. I don't think he dod anything wrong last night at the game, he just showed a lot of emotion, for a team that no one thought could beat Grodansville one time, whether you are form Carthage or Gordonsville I really do not care, he has done a great job and worked really hard to get the most out of his girls don;t be mad if he gets excited.

Give him time and he will be fine, do you even know the guy and where he has been and who he has worked for leading up to this job? Anyway keep up the good work and you will be fine.
