This material is irrelevant! People have nothing else to do these days but be negative towards football programs. Talent will always be the excuse for winning or losing. Friday night lights is what high school football is about. The roar of the crowd,the fresh smell of popcorn,the cheerleaders yelling for their team,the fellowship of teammates on game night, the adrenaline rush during pregame, the prayers given to heaven for safety,and the ability TO SMILE AND SAY CHEESE! It's not about Mapic! It's about those kids on the field playing to their ability!

I totally agree! I played their in 1989. I remember the cow bells,car horns,and most of all the song"Welcome to the Jungle" ringing off the pressbox. The electricity in the air would demoralize any team.

Papa signed with Miss. State in 1987. Also went to play at Carson Newman later. As far as I know he is still living around Spring Hill or that area.
