1989 Moore Co. vs. Halls in the 3rd round of the playoffs. 25 degrees at game time. Moore Co. wins and plays Bruceton the next week. We dressed up for cold weather and like to have burn up. The Clinic Bowl the following week was terrible. Cold! Wet! DCA and Bruceton played on ice.

Mt.Pleasant beat Moore Co. 3 times while Mac was coaching 1987,1991,& 1997. Collinwood never beat Moore Co. until Mac/Moffet went to Marshall Co. PowerSoftball go to the TSSAA website and it gives all time win/loss records. The only school Mac ever got dismissed from was Marshall Co. Cash money from boosters took Mac from Moore Co. I wish he never left. I hope Mac comes back to Moore Co. Moore Co. got very spoiled in the late 80's & 90's. Mac & Moore Co. get upset in the 2nd round & the little click in the town thought they where not getting the proper respect they wanted and showed their childish ways after the 2nd round loss. Look at Moore Co. now! He is winning again at Ripley High in Mississippi. Their in the the 2nd round of the playoffs after a 35-14 win. He is running the old wing-t from his days at Moore. Totally surprised he throws about 30-40% of the time.

I have known Mac for 15 years. I played for him and coached with him until one year ago. He is a tough and demanding coach but I have never heard him say anything abusive or over the limit. This is about a former QB club officer and one player's parents trying to get rid of a man. I know that they made a comment to an assistant coach this summer that Mac would soon be gone and that coach would be moved up to head coach. This is their attempt to get that done by stirring up a bunch of people. Mac don't deserve all this. He does deserve a good butt whipping for going 6-6 and I am just the man who can do it!

The bobcats showed there class friday! They were paddin stats for herndon up 28 in the fourth...if he would of got hurt there season would have been over right then! He is a good player and will get MR. Football but don't risk the whole season for one individual!

The wing-t is the offense for Coach Stacey. When you don't have Brett Farve at QB, Priest Holmes at RB, or Marvin Harrison at WR you run the wing-t. You have to have a mobile QB to run the veer. You have to have good receivers and good arm to run the spread. You need a hard nose fullback and a quick tailback to get in the I. Keep you heads high CHAPEL HILL! You have a good coach who wants to win.
