No disrespect intended for anyone else on this list, but if they are better than Mario Davis, I'll have to see it. He plays with Darryl Henry(798 yds rushing, 10.1/carry who should probably get some consideration in his own right) and because of this he might not have the sheer numbers that some of the others have. But here is something to consider. In nine games, he is the teams leading rusher
(101 carries,1051 yds,10.4/carry),leading receiver(23 rec,
376 yds,16.3/rec),and for good measure he has returned a punt and a fumble recovery defensively for a touchdown. He has that rare ability that the great ones have in that every time he touches the ball, everyone in the stands is glued to the play in anticipation of seeing something special. His offensive line is great, but I would love to have a stat on how many of his yards have come after the first hit.He is a human highlight film. Here is the stat that I think might set him apart from the others. Consider this: He scores one out of every five times he touches the ball(24 TDs).Good luck in the drive for five tigers!!!
