  1. Why was it necessary, especially in the second half, for Trousdale County to thrown the footbaall so much? Why not keep it on the ground if your trying to take it easy as it has been stated?
  2. Does anyone know why Smith County decided not to stay in Reigon 4AAA for the 2005-2009 classification period? Don't blame them for staying in ClassAA where their enrollment is, but they've certainly proved they're more than talented enough to compete.
  3. It's not reasonable that Macon County would schedule Red Boiling Springs......nothing to gain by doing that. We will have to wait and see who the TSSAA Board Of Control places in Reigon 4-AAA for the next classification period 2005-2009. Here is what alot of people think is going to happen. Macon County DeKalb County Livingston Academy Station Camp White House David Lipscomb Pearl-Cohn And perhaps Greenbrier This lineup will make it more competitive than what it was the past few years.
  4. Coach Dyer made the right choice......family should come before football, no matter where it's at.
  5. Last Year at this time, Macon County was 8-1.......now their 4-5. We find out this year who the real Macon County Fans are.
  6. York Institute is dangerous at home.......if it was at Macon County, I'd say the Tigers could win. York Institute 28 Macon Co. 14
  7. Macon County will be blown off the field Smith County 48 Macon County 0
  8. I believe that Macon County proved on the field last year that 2003 was not a fluke. Reigon 4AAA down last year? I suppose it is down again this year. Somebody's not thinking stright.
  9. If their enrollment figures during the 2005-2009 classification period go up 20%, they should've had to move to Class AAAA just like other schools have to. The point is that if that happens, their guaranteed not to have to do that until the next classification period, 2009-2014. The point is their protected.
  10. Is it true that Trousdale County soundly defeated the Bucs this spring?
  11. What is so unfair is that David Lipscomb is guaranteed not to move up to Class AAAA until the next classification period (2009), even if their enrollment and the 1.8 multipler put them there. As I understand it, Division 1 public schools must move up, even during the period 2005-2009, if their enrollment goes up 20%.
  12. If Macon County can replace some key offensive and defensive lineman, they could be in the hunt. A realistic record for 2004 would probably be 7-3 when you honestly look at the talent of other teams in Reigon 4AAA.
  13. It"s a shame that this will be the last year of Reigon 4AAA as we know it now. The 1.8 multiplier by itself is going to probably throw David Lipscomb and Goodpasture in the mix and cause the creating of a new reigon or back to a District if the Z plan is approved by the TSSAA in June.

    new z plan

The decision lies completely with the TSSAA Board Of Control. The coaches have no imput other than contacting board members.
  15. Jackets should win handily over Livingston Academy.........The owls will murder the jackets in week 7.
