I can tell you brothersboy is definitley not Paul Campbell. I would say it is someone from Christian Brothers, but that doesn't mean it's Marable. He is not the only guy on that team who gets on the internet either. People need to quit worrying about all that stuff. But I beat Kenny in 2003 at brentwood, not last year. I injury defaulted in the semis and didnt wrestle anymore that day. bhsOL, I think Kenny wrestled the perfect match against me in the finals last year, but if you watch the match, he did stall, and it was very obvious. I have beaten him 4 times and 2 were by pins in 20 and 36 seconds, so I wouldnt say I got "lucky" buddy. I also think Kenny should pretty much take care of business this weekend. I'll be there to watch. You guys should all come too.

I'd say Kenny Meredith will win 189. I'm pretty sure.

Fuller is definitley the best Frosh this year.

Soddy Daisy lost a lot of talent last year. 3 state champs, 4th place @140, and 6th @215, but they still have plenty of talent. Jason McCroskey( ranked #1 at 103 for a while last year) and Jarriet Toney(solid at 112) Tyler Roberson(region 4 champ) and Matt Lettner(region 4 champ) are all sophomores this year with a solid year under their belt. Ryan Fuller (lost 2 close matches to Cordell last year) is a junior and should definatley do some damage at whatever weight he goes. Ryan's brother Mikey is a freshman this year, who is very talented, so that will help the lineup too. Heavyweight Nick Shadrick(region 4 champ) is a junior this year, annd has lots of athletic ability and potential. Soddy should be up there again with the best in the state once again.

I think Jason McCroskey will be going 112 this year too.

The penalty did NOT win the game. The Vols still had to make plays to put themselves in position to win. Anyone who says that call won the game is F.O.S. Brandon Johnson almost blew the game when he misplayed the pass from Leak and Florida took it all the way for a TD. Johnson probably could have intercepted it. Erik Ainge(with his compsure) and Wilhoit(with his balls of steel) won the game. Get over it.

I know Matt Peardon would not have started at SD last year.He is a little too small for our offense. He's fast and all, but 5-6 fumbles in the state title game? Try putting him against Oak Ridge and Dobyns Bennet.He's only Like I said, we beat them pretty bad when we played them.They had peardon in the 34-7 scrimmage and Nelson and Peardon in the 56-7 game. baldcoach, i know people on boyd's team who attended public 5A schools and people who don't even live in Chattanooga that play for them. One of my best friends played for and graduated from Boyd last year, so I have some inside knowledge. About the Rhea Co. game. Yeah they beat us once, but you try to win a game when a certain coach takes out almost the whole starting offense and defense for 2 quarters because they didn't act like they were furious at half time because they were losing. Kinda tough to win with a bunch of sophomores.No excuses though. Anyone outside the Boyd program would agree that SD,McCallie,Tyner,McMinn,Clevland, or any other team of that nature would spank Boyd. Now let's rank teams reallistically. Putting Boyd over these teams is like putting a team like the undefeated Tulane team from a few years ago ahead of teams like Tennessee,FSU,Florida,and Georgia. Sure Tulane was good, but it's just not the same. For SD to win the region, they have to beat Oak Ridge, McMinn, Ooltewah, the occaionally good Bradley,and William Blount. Boyd has to beat Whitwell, Lookout Valley, South Pittsburgh(decent 1A school,doesn't mean they are good),?Copper Basin?, and other WEAK teams. It should be deemed a tragedy if Boyd loses a region game, where SD has to play one of the best teams in the state in any classification every year. another reason I think SD would beat Boyd, SD hangs close to Oak Ridge for the most part. We beat them in 02. Boyd kills people like Howard,arguably one of the top 5 teams in chattanooga. I don't think we played a weak team at all in my 4 years. Heritage was the weakest team we played, and they've beat some good teams,Oak Ridge being one of them. If you ask me, OR would beat boyd by 5-6 td's. But, iiI'm getting tired of typing,so I'll leave it at this...Boyd is not in the top 5 in Chattanooga.Period.

i would say 7:30 would be start time. I'd try to get there an hour early, because the last 2 years there has been about 5,000. Im gonna try to be there,depending on how my schedule works out.

Old Central high won plenty of "national titles" even traveling to miami twice to play the #1 team in Fla at the orange bowl. Central won both times. My grandfather played on those teams.

Riggs is the best. As Trooper Taylor said, Jabari is 2 biscuits from being a linebacker, and Houston only looks good on paper. pretty harsh if you ask me,but mildly humorous.

what I am saying is that more than half of the boyd guys wouldnt start/play mich for the Ooltewahs,Soddys,McMinns,Tyners,Baylors,McCallies,etc...Thats why thet transfer out of those schools. We(Soddy) played Boyd twice in scrimmages while i was there.Once when I was in 10th grade(2001-2002) and once in 11th(when they were runner up). In those two scrimmages(even though they were scrimmages,the starters played almost the whole time)we beat them 34-7 and 8-1(56-7).Sure, they can beat people like East Ridge by alot when they are down, but they can also lose to people like a strong Tyner team 95-3. They lost to a severly banged up Baylor team last year, and to a mediocre Goodpasture team. If they are so good, then wht don't they play Soddy,McCallie,McMinn,or Tyner. I think it's because they would get beat pretty good. I don't want to cut anyone down, but they mainy have decent players,who wouldnt do anything at a 5A school. I'm sorry but 1A is VERY weak.CPA has a good team every couple of years and Boyd is alright, but thats pretty much it. Like I said, they have "stars" on their team who wouldn't crack the lineup at my school. Just my opinion, but if you look at it I think you'l' have to agree.

im sorry but boyd buchannon is one of the most overrated teams in tennessee.

makes sense to me.if they are as good,close,or better, they should definatley be the guy(s). Gerald Riggs needs to start too, he's the man.
