McCallie let a couple of their wrestlers sit out, but Father Ryan I think won by about 40 or so not really positive, but Ryan also defeated them at the Mccallie Invitational if I am not mistaken. I think McCallie is a better dual team than they are tournament team, but thats just my opinion.

I would agree that Bradley goes out of the state and wrestles top oppponents to better themselves for February where it matters the most, but in all honesty I am impressed with the state of Tennesse as a whole this year. It seems that numerous teams are doing the same and going out of the state and wrestling the top opponents from other states and are doing well. I know for fact that Baylor, Bradley, McCallie, Father Ryan, Christian Brothers, and a couple other teams I am leaving out have gone out of the state and won tournaments as well as finishing at the top of the respected tournament. I mean I am proud of Tennessee as a whole this year so making a name for itself on a National level, not just Bradley, but many other teams as well.

Please just for our sake send all of your posts to your coach I really just want to see what he says..... I am not asking much here.... Just send them all to them and tell me what he says....

Where can we find out the results of the Soddy Daisy Invitational this weekend??

Hamm just for fun have you thought about coming up with maybe a top 8 of each weight classes combining the D1 and D2 schools?? It might be to much time and I might asking for to much because I know it would be a tough thing to do. Just seeing if you could throw that at us? Thanks a lot!

Coach Blair do you or Irishdad have the complete results of Ryan vs. Brentwood, Brentwood vs. Tullahoma, Ryan vs. Tullahoma? There were a couple of good matchups through out the night??

BOTW, I do agree excellent research, and you should look into sending some information to the Nashville City Paper, or the much hated Tennessean.

Wneely, Boomer Herndon is doing a good job off the bench for the Vols averaging around 4 points a couple boards and some scrappy play, Dane Bradshaw is seeing good numbers and should good some good playing time even with they starting playing SEC teams, very impressed with Dane true freshman handling the ball very well occasional turnovers, but plays hard and it will pay off for him! If they are just two white boys for Buzz they are doing a good job!

Does anyone have the results of Father Ryan wrestling in the Butler Invitational @ Vandalia, Ohio?? I talked to a few wresting fans and they said they finished 2nd, just curious if anyone had any results? Also if there is a website to keep up with the scores from the Kenwood Dual tournament this week???

I would definitely agree with you about Christian Brothers beating Kenwood, Clakrsville, and possibly MBA and to me could put up a good fight with Franklin? It was an interesting poll this week, a lot will be proved at the Father Ryan Invitational and I am like you would loved to have seen Christian Brothers travel up and compete in one of the states most competitive tournaments.

Congratulations to Baylor for wrestling well this weekend! Father Ryan and McCallie wrestler pretty good although loosing a couple pivitol matches. Ryan Scott had a very tough match in the tournament, but look for him to wrestle well and be in the state finals. Father Ryan came in 3rd place without a 103, or 112 who was not able to wrestle. Frank Mondelli had the flu and a inexperinced sophomore was put in his place, starter Charlie Oddo didnt wrestle because of a wrist injury. It will be interesting to see the Baylor, McCallie, and Father Ryan dual match they should be pretty close. Watch out for Notre Dame they have a bunch of good wrestlers hungry to place in State!

Thanks Dragonwrestler for clearing that up. I respect the fact they dont want to wrestle D 2 schools and I wasnt try to cause a controversy, because it is not needed. I assumsed that Bradley didn't want to wrestle the good D 2 schools in a dual match, but didnt realize there is that much of a problem to enter into a top notch tournament. I was just excited about the thought of seeing Bradley participate at Mccallie just for the sheer fact the state of Tennessee would have even more to brag about this tournament and in reality would appeal to many more teams not just in the Southeast, but maybe some Northeast schools. Either way there will be a lot of exciting wrestling in the Chattanooga area this weekend!
