It took Hillwood a while to get the offense going but they exploded in the second half and took a 27-0 lead. Maplewood scored 2 TDs on the second string although Hillwood dominated the game. Hillwood has some work to do before they go to Columbia but it should be a good game. Congrats to both schools. does anybody know anything about columbia? run-oriented Offense or pass-oriented Offense? any predictions for next week?

ncs cant even get an honorable mention around here? if Summertown didnt shoot 80% (yes, 80%) in the first half we go to state and it sounds like if they couldnt hit anything and only lost by 10-15 to the state runner-up then we could compete there. Oh well, thats a bunch of what-ifs you guys we will see you guys there next year. you can quote me on this or put it in your sig lines or whatever you want with it. Temple looked like a middle school team (but didnt neccesarily play like one) and I think NCS could have played with or beaten them this year. thanks and cya next year.

This post has died off but I had to bring it back to talk about next season. NCS returns their 3 leading scorers in Anderson, Anderson, and Skinner. with Skogen and Wadley gone, look for NCS to contend for the state championship. Who else is supposed to be good in A? thanks and GO EAGLES!

khopkins, I was gonna ask you your opinion of our match-up when I saw that Lipscomb played them but you beat me to it. Sorry about DL's early departure. Did you get a chance to see us play during the region tourney? They have really caught fire. Pace is playing well as well as all our guards. It sounds like we match up well. What is your score prediction and what do you think dictates the outcome of this game? also, what or who could be the wildcard? GO NCS EAGLES!

Ive been out of town... let me get this straight... Pace shut down Owens and scored about 16... NCS won by 12 over THE EZELL HARDING EAGLES???? and then NCS beat East???? and DA beat McEwen by 37 and NCS beat DA by 22??? no way! GET OUTTA TOWN!!! So Pace is playin good and NCS is REGION CHAMPS? this cant be true. i thought Ezell was gonna blow NCS out and so was McEwen if for some reason they get past the mighty eagles. wow sounds like a great time for NCS. BEAT SUMMERTOWN!

Coach Anderson has that big NCAA championship ring with the big #1 in the middle and he coached STown's coach so that should be enough proof there. Summertown's coach seems to be very very good though.

any school with 127 students that wins state has something going on. Im not sayin its recruiting it could be very very good coaching or something but something is weird about that situation.

russel just because they have 3 guys with pretty good size doesnt mean they are the tallest team in the state. you sound like you have never left mcewen in your life. haha when you throw in cody hall who is like 4'7'' it makes your team average around 5'10''... not too tallf9d

russel you are a moron. puckett is 6'5'' and mcewen has two other guys who are supposed to be 6'5'' or over. at least half the rest of the team? so that means you have 5 players or less on the team?
