I dont think anyone from Fayette Academy thinks they already have this game won...the Vikings are really thankful to be playing...we always knew we had the potential to be great but now its sort of coming together..im just trying to get some information on Huntington and how there season has gone and what their strong/weak points are....

necvol, what does Huntington have?...they beat yall 3-2 earlier this year, who pitched and how did they win?...great hitting, great D..whats the story on the Mustangs?...

Not a poor hitting performance from the Vikings but 2 errors in the field and solid hitting from the Bruins proved costly in the loss for Fayette Academy...all pitchers should have plenty of rest over the next days in preparation for an important region game against Huntington..hopefully it will be a great game and the Vikings can keep playing...

Ha!...a girls softball team?...dude give me a break, if nobody cheered or "chanted", half the fun of baseball would be lost...maybe its not accepted where your from but it pumps the players up soo much and its a great way to keep the momentum of a game in your favor...

Thats correct Gilligan, Fayette has never made it to region accept in 2001 when they were in D2 and they won their district...since the 60's Fayette Academy has competed in the MPSA(Mississippi Private School Association), where for the most part...they ruled..but since coming to TSSAA in 1999 and becoming a Division 1 member in 2002 they have not made the region(in D1)...thanks for the praise...we all knew they had it in them..the sticks are finally coming alive..they were at the beginning of the year when the Vikings were run ruling folks..but cooled waaaay down through the middle of the season...if they swing the bat like they did tonight i would say a couple of great games could go down tommorow night... niiice...so i guess it was only 3-0, my bad i was mistaken..for awhile there it looked like JCS was gonna put your boys out handily but i guess they fought back..good job..

I left in the 3rd inning so could not see who won but it looked like JCS had the upper hand with a 4-0 lead and seemed to be smashing the ball well...i would love to know who ended up winning ..if anyone could give me a score and/or summary it would be greatly appreciated...thanks guys!

Are you sure thats right?... i played with a guy last year and im pretty sure he was workin out for pro scouts before he graduated...he didnt actualy do anything with the players from pro teams or spring training or anything of that nature but is it illegal for pro scouts to work out players and evaluate them before they graduate if they are worth their time?..

just a question for hotrod, and necvol..how are you affiliated with USJ?..just wondering...

i know Collierville doesnt play at the city park and im pretty sure they have a tarp...but i really dont know if USJ wants to play this one..Collierville is pretty stacked throughout their order and the defense is the best around...i wouldnt expect USJ to be undefeated anymore after today..but it could help them out in the long run..

i heard that Ripley split games with Tipton-Rosemark...is this true?...if so what was the score?...thanks..

i say houston has got this game, just because their pitching is the best around...and they are ranked 27th in the nation...the mustangs are too strong...but who knows, maybe cbhs will suprise em.

Ok how about we talk about common oppoents, since thats really the only thing we can look at thats legit, everything else is really just trash talk...ok Pickett Co. beat Ezell by 11, and Temple beat Pickett Co. by 11 and then Middleton beat Temple by 9.....soooooooooooo, evidently it would seem as if Middleton would be the favorite...im just stating the facts...i think the Tigers have got this one....

Whoever made the comment about sending middleton back to the west with a loss better be able to eat your words...Middleton is gonna beat Ezell handily..i promise you Ezell isnt gonna know what hit them...you think im kidding, they are about to get a big taste of what west tenn. basktball is about ...if you already cant tell...look how many teams they have in the tourney...dont be crying when you get beat is all im saying.

Prayers from Fayette Academy...TCA has always been good to us, especially when we lost one of our seniors last year, they catered to our needs as far as traveling to Somerville to play when a game was scheduled in Jackson...time will help but until then you are in our prayers.........

Congrats to Middleton, they have improved...not trying to take ANYTHING away from Middleton, yall beat Fayette fair and square, but the Tigers had 0 hits and every run they scored was from a past ball or a walk..and it was against the Freshman team.....

i dont think adamsville will get out of the district personally but i think they will be improved from last year...i am curious to know who USJ has on the mound this season...if i recall correctly they lost most of their pitchers to graduation...is this correct?

They havent played any yet but they were supposed to play in the Middleton tourney Tues. but it was rained out so they play a double-header friday and then 1 game on sat. Things are looking good in Somerville, the Vikings have depth in pitching with about 6 guys who can bring it...and they are pretty solid with the sticks...if they can stay healthy hopefully they will play for awhile in May..

It aint arrogance you idiot. The T$$AA didn't find any VIOLATION, they made a recommendation. The school headmaster at USJ made the decision to keep the HEAD COACH off the field for a SHORT time to let all you loud mouth idiots keep talking so the coach can get his game plans ready for the season. Assistant Coach Talley can work with the team on their routine practices with defense and offense. You people, All of you, who like to keep a stink stirred, need to remember one thing, What goes around, comes around. I hope you or anyof the other idiots bashing the Coach and USJ never need a ride to an event or have a child with a need.
