Josh did "Fracture" the "Tibia" . That is the small bone in the lower leg. The doctor told him he will not play anymore this season, "Maybe" ?? baseball , but not likely. I just hate this for Josh's sake. It is very dissapointing , but he is taking it very well. Keith

We were the underdogs last year too... The folks arround Middle Tennessee couldn'd even pronounce Unaka.. But thats ok too .. I bet they CAN pronounce it this year ! My Son Plays Basketball for one of the BEST Teams in the State of Tennessee !! Coached By The Best Coaches in the State !! I can say the Lord has Blessed Me yet AGAIN ! and I Thank Him For it ! Congratulations To Grace Baptist Academy for playing a Great game and Showing the Sportsmanship of a Truly Class Act Team. Your Coaches are your Role Models and your leaders , Your Coaches and your Team Showed Class in every aspect of the game. Your School should be Proud Of the Group that Represented Grace Baptist Academy at this State Tournament. I spoke with one of your Coaches before the game and ask him if you guys were praying at Center Court before the game, his reply was "Yes" . Just the fact you were praying, let alone as a TEAM , tells me you have some good role models supporting you. They Should be Proud , Because I know I am not the only person that saw you, And somewhere along the line some young boy or girl will remember the TEAM they saw PRAYING in the middle of a basketball court at one of the MOST IMPORTANT games of their lives, and that might influence them to make THE right choice some day.

First off..... Go Rangers .!!!!!! next.. I was there and watched the Grace and CPA game. It was a good game. but , then again I have watched alot of good basketball this week, from the floor and from the stands. The game between Grace and CPA just enforces a statement I've said many times, "Any TEAM can Beat any other TEAM on any given day." There are no sure things on these courts. I watched Grace play CPA much the way My Rangers Play. All Heart, Determination, and the Attitude of "NEVER GIVE UP" From what Ive seen on this board, Neither Unaka nor Grace "Should" be here. But Look at us NOW !! The two underdogs are playing for the GOLD Ball !! This will be another "BarnBuner" fans !!!!! So come on and SUPPORT US !!!!!!!! Perdiction : I'll have to pick MY RANGERS ! Unaka by 3 Go Rangers !!!!!!

CoachT This is a great site. We get some great info here. and get some interesting conversations going here, and some heated ones at the same time. Are you goning to be at the State Tourny today ? I will be on the floor taking more photos Of my Rangers today at 12:00 . and Would like to meet you, and maybe get one of those "CoachT" shirts . Where you on the Floor on Wed ? Were you the fellow wearing a "CoactT" shirt ? I seen one at the press table , and noticed it again on the floor during our game.

First off , I am a Unaka Ranger Fan, and My son plays for the Rangers. Good post Rowdy, However...........Unaka is a public , county high school of about 325 students. And we also bring a crowd of "fired up country fans". I don't think any team gets to this level of play by accident, or "Unexpected" . These 8 teams have already proved themselfs as being hard working , dedicated , wanting to be the best ! and Having the HEART to take them all the way ! From all that I have heard about your team , they have a good bench, and like to play slow ball. My team on the other hand also has a good bench and LOVES to play the FAST ball . So , Rowdy, Looks like we are in for a good game. I really don't look for a runaway from either team. And me being a Ranger fan, I'll have to say Rangers by 4. If you happen to be there, say hi, i'll be the one in the maroon hat with a "U" on it. oh, if thats not enough, I'll also be on the floor taking some pictures at one end of the floor or the other.

They kept us Fighting the entire game. We were behind almost the whole game. But our guys never gave up ! The Coaches kept them Focused and in the game. The guys played GREAT TEAM BALL !! I normally would not say anything but I will have to go to bat for Coach Chambers . I have known Kenneth since my son played for him in the 6th grade and he is a Sophomore and now plays for Coach Ensor at Unaka. (Go Rangers !! ) I have followed these teams and coaches for a very long time. I do not believe Chambers said anything to a fan or parent or player. I will tell you this though. I came out of the stands and stood by the door leading to the locker rooms and when your Wartburg Bulldog "Ladies" came thru, there were 3 different girls cursing every breath. This is no joke, I heard them myself. After they went thru I walked over to speak to Coach Chambers and there was one of your fans fussing at Chambers over the game and the refs. From where I stood and listened, Kenneth listened said OK and went on to the locker room. I didn't even get to talk to him that night. There were other posts talking about the Refs being "Unaka REFS" , sorry , but your wrong again. The A.D. at the school said they were from Athens , TN. and they looked very chummy with your Coach, and players. And Your Coach ask to sit where they did.

Both teams played their hearts out ! I have a son that plays for Unaka, so I am a true Ranger Fan. The game came down to the last 2 seconds of overtime. and Holsclaw put it in from under the goal. University High played the best game I have ever seen them play. GO RANGERS !!

I have read all these posts and have come with an opinion of My own. I just hope everyone reads this carefully , Ever hear the old saying " What you see is What you get" ? Well , here goes. I think it is WRONG to get on here and "Point Fingers" and call names. Especially , CALL INDVIDUAL NAMES on here. OUR sons and daughters have a hard enough time dealing with all the pressures of school and other kids , doing what is right and doing what is wrong. They don't need to be seeing their parents acting like chilldren. name calling,trying to put the blame on a single player,childish ,to say the least. It looks like Jugheadboy and Coachtdog started this MESS !! But , I do agree with some of what "Jugheadboy" said and I agree with some of what "CoachTdog" said. Jugheadboy said some of the others could be scoring more points,I have said that all along, and I haven't tried to hide it either. And JucieJoe , I'll take up for Jugheadboy here, What is negative about that statement ? CoachTdog said that he was challenging the boys to get back in the gym and fix the problems. yes , here at the close of the season, they need to be in the gym more now than ever. They have a good chance of going to the state and the last thing they need is reading all this garbage and distracting them from the chore at hand. Yes, LuvsBball, you made a true statement also , we as parents need to encourage our kids tell them they played a good game. As for me and "LittleDiggs" I have a hard time telling him he didn't do too good. I'll cop out and let Donald,Johnny and Richard do that. That is THEIR job to tell them what their doing wrong and tell them how to correct it. No, I don't agree or understand some of their methods or the reasoning , but , they are the coaches, NOT ME. I will also back sportiemom, I know Mr. E , and we are Good friends, You are wrong in accusing him of being Jugheadboy. I would bet the farm on that. To close, I think there are several who know who I am, But if not... K.L. That should be enough for all the Parents , Players and most of the Ranger Fans. So , If any of you don't like what I have said, tell me. Face To Face. I'll listen, and if you want more of my opinion i'll tell you, if not, I'll keep my mouth shut.
