The public education system has failed. This is why is the future you'll see privates dominate athletics. Not only will they provide a better education but colleges look for students from private institutes.

The only reason it was denied was b/c of ZCA's existing contract. They will make the move after next season (meaning after NEXT season, as in two years from now) .I believe that is when the new classifications come around and their contract is up. I don't know how Cass is playing this year but he didn't put a %110 in anything I saw last year. I'm looking forward to watching him play over x-mas.

First of all.....It's pretty vain to say ZCA is better than everyone else in the district when they got killed by Summertown and just beat a team who lost something like 6 players from last year and have yet to win a game this year. Zion's shot at a championship??? PLEASE......30-63. Coach better change the way his team plays if ZCA is going to win a championship. On another note..........It might very well be the last time ZCA beats WC. We'll only be playing them three more times (depending on tourny play) and two out of the three we won't have Cass or Moore b/c they are seniors and after next season ZCA is moving to DIV II.

I think ZCA will pull this one out. Cass just needs to stay out of foul trouble. ZCA +5

63-30...that is pathetic. I haven't seen ZCA play this year but when you have a Div I. signee on your team and you lose by 33 points in single A ball. That is just down right worthless! Blah Blah Blah about refs....that shouldn't even matter. I don't know what Cass did nor do I care b/c they lost to a single A program by 30 points +...........This should be an eye opener for someone at Zion! I've seen Campbell Univ. there isn't anyone on that team that is less talented than anyone I've seen in District 12A in like 5 years (I did see some great team when I was young Perry County and CA). I don't know rather Cass plays a different kind of basketball during AAU or what but I would figure a Campbell signee to produce a better team.....................

WHH beat ZCA by 16, and beat Lewis county by like 4. Lewis County only beat Summertown by 1. I hate going by scores and anything can happen but I don't think it'll be a good game. Summertown by 10+

Just wondering about any info pertaining to this game??? I read where WHH beat lewis county so I'm guessing they're a solid team.

Mt. Pleasant is down this year with talent. I think it'll be between Summertown and Collinwood. ZCA will be good and could contend if Cass plays smart.

Congrats Mr. Daily I only got to see his final game this year but he is an athlete. Does anyone know who is trying to recruit this young man? I hear the last two finalist (04,05) from MP aren't playing anywhere which is very disappointing. I would hope someone at MPHS would help this kid out and get him a scholarship. I'm glad Mt. Pleasant is having success on the field but these kids deserve better when it comes to making the scores to receive scholarships.

I don't think Moore County plays ZCA. Moore is pretty good. Looking forward to seeing Cass playing over x-mas break. I heard he had 38 tonight. Not sure if he still plays the same timid basketball but he does have a scholarship to a Div. I school so who cares. Whose the last person in this district to play D-I ball. Haskins??? He'll step it up. I look for ZCA to be somewhere at the top this year. A little disappointed in the santa fe game. I would have thought ZCA would have destroyed them.

Atlantic Sun Conference......Lipscomb, Belmont, ETSU, Florida Atlantic, Stetson, CAMPBELL UNIV.....etc. I think he'll impress more people this year.......

If this was a regular season game then I would say ZCA by 10 especially with Hendrickson being back. I doubt PC would have beaten them the first game if he would have played but this is a tourny game and everyone knows how good PC is come tourny time, it really doesn't matter what kind of record they produced in the season when the tounry comes around it's a different game. I still go with ZCA by 5, like I said earlier this will be ZCA's first appearance in the Region since joining TSSAA in 2003.

I agree, Culleoka has been getting more undeserved respect than anyone in the region. If they beat Summertown and Wayne County in the tourny then and only then will they deserve to be ranked so high. Getting swept by CA isn't a state bound performance.

Sorry, haven't voted yet. Summertown and Wayne County have to be the best teams. Big surprise of the tourny will probably ZCA , especially if they get matched up with CA. Sorry Culleoka, You'll get yours in the next two years. The last time Culleoka had a state bound team they got upset bad. (Casey Holt vs. WC)

If I recall ZCA beat Santa Fe in their last meeting. No way the Roger kid is better than Cass. However Hendrickson is not 100%, I'd say about 60%, so this could be a closer game than most think. ZCA is playing well coming off a big win at perry county, but it could be a prime time for an upset. Good Luck ZCA!

I don't know why we are still talking about this guy. He made a loser decision about not going to UT and probably miss his opportunity b/c he thought he was too good. I don't care about ever seeing him in a uniform again. Pearl made the right decision b/c it was the better one for his program. Get off Pearl's back, I guarantee this, whoever Smith plays for he won't have a better coach than Pearl.

The team with the smaller guys usually has more fouls. It really increases with you have a big man like Cass. They can't stop him without playing him physical.

ZCA won 62-53 according to the scoreboard. Thats a great win for ZCA and could move them into 4th if they beat collinwood on the 10th and perry county loses to Mt. Pleasant. Could it be that ZCA is going to region??? Could it be that I was right? I hope they get matched up with CA, I mean I'm praying for it.

ZCA didn't have their leading scorer the first game due to injury. He's back this game and will help out but he still isn't 100%. I'll look for it to be a good game this game. Someone give some details after the game.

(Maury County) It's the manner in which CA carries themselves that makes them big rivals with everyone. I would have to say seeing them and Mt. Pleasant yell and cuss each other has to be a crazy game. I know I've been there.
