  1. The crowd will play a big part in this game. Portland isn't that close to DLHS, so they probably won't have as many fans as they would like. Lipscomb's last game against Hume Fogg, Lipscomb's student cheering section was probably 175+. I hope the fans will be there again providing a great atmosphere for the DLHS Mustangs.
  2. 31-20 at half...59-63 was the final. Top scorers were: Father Ryan-Carney 14, Kemph 13, and Thompson 11; MBA-French 12, Hollis 10.
  3. Anthony Hopkins for David Lipscomb is their best defender. He doesn't block shots, but he will get into you make you go where he wants you to go.
  4. It's Josh Stephen...not Josh Stevens. Lipscomb's Anthony Hopkins and Elliot Wood did an excellent job defending Harriford. Had they not contested every shot, Harriford would of had a lot more than he got. Mike Roller does an excellent job with his kids...their defense is probably the best in their league. It's hard to make a team go as hard as they can on defense. Lipscomb plays Portland Tuesday night around 8. Brewer should be back by then and it will be an excellent game.
  5. I definitely agree with horsefly on Josh Stephen. No one in Middle TN can guard him (just look at his stats). I am anxious to see how he will do against the Brewer kid from Portland. I hear he is an excellent player...but we will see if he can stop Josh Tuesday night at 8.
  6. I do believe LIPSCOMB beat Hume Fogg 66-48. Lipscomb lead by 10 for most of the game forcing Hume Fogg to foul towards the end. Lipscomb hit their free throws and went on to win by 18...Josh Stephen for Lipscomb and Brandon Harriford for Hume Fogg both had big games of probably 20+ points...not really sure.
