True defense wins championshipbut don't get on here acting like it was a blow off! TC has a great team no doubt but i would call a 7-0 win a pretty evenly matched game! I have listened to this whole game.....Liberty has moved the ball on Giles and had ONE huge play on offense for a TD. On the other hand GC has run wild and passed at will. BUT the only thing that has stopped Giles has been Mr. Fumble...two drives stopped inside the 5 yd line.....otherwise this would have been a major blowout.....GC has too much offense and Liberty has NO answer on defense.....did I say NO answer on defense. If I was the Giles punter I would be pissed off because he never got into the game to punt. Like I said defense wins championships. Liberty has some good players but GC obviously has the BEST team no doubt. I take great pride that my team gave Giles the best game so far this season. Congrats to the Bobcats on their 28-14 win and making MIDDLE TN proud

I have it on good authority that Jackie Smith has bought OC out and OC will take the Warren Co. job. Jackie will be coaching the Bobcats down the stretch to relive the Golden days and OC will be picking out property in Warren Co to build his dream home. Look for Smith to become one-dimensional and conserve the Cats for next year......Jackie is going to wait and see if Tyler Smith has some eligibility left to play Receiver.....wait a minute that might have been 2003. ..............boy I bet that woke some folks up. GC wins this one 31-21....if all those All-Stars from Liberty play well..they can score points. How in the world can Liberty have 4 players picked and GC has 2 for the All-Star game???? Not to take anything away from the 4 chosen from Liberty...but C'mon....GC only 2.......typical BS politics Giles just show them on the field!!!!

Looks like everyone is going to have to be a speed reader this week. All I can say is that Mckenzie better have their team letters large for all to see.....cause if any of the TC players even think it reads "Mayfield".......it will be even a longer night for them cause TC will see blood.

I still think GC is ...too deep...too much...too focused. I don't care who the underdog is....you will have to play 4 hard quarters with GC. I have often said Bo is the difference. This has never been to slight anyone else.....he is the difference at his position. PLUS....this game is being played at Giles.......that is going to be an advanage for them. Hope that officiating crew gets rotated out. Consistency is the key to a good official...let them play or call it tight....but be consistent.........a good official is one that you barely notice during the game. I think this is Page 5 on this thread. Remember that I advise GC to watch themselves on the edge when blocking and on pass plays in the interior line. This is where late round officials watch the closest......at the point of attack.....and don't come close to lining up in the neutral zone I hear that Liberty is big......but are they quick???

Congrats to the TC team for their victory. I have seen the accuations and apologies........now back to the game itself........TC was dominant and won. Who was the biggest difference? Looks like TC is the favorite !!!!!!! Any way you put it......FC ...you lost.......time to move on Until after the game....this thread was one of the best I have ever seen.......that sweatervest comment was uncanny....the toothless shots were sharp..........but overall I really like the passion of the fans on here....and learned a lot of "fables" to use.

Defense wins championships!!!!!!!!! The only way Giles loses this is if becomes a high scoring game. Obviously defense is not as big of factor in west Tn. I am sure they can all score....but a Good defensive effort wins this one for GC. This will be a good game...let's see now....let me think......I am going to go with........yes.. I believe it will be Giles County. We hear a lot about the Crowder kid.............but what I hear about is a bunch of different GC players....AND a QB who is a cut above the others. Still think GC is better prepared for this run than west Tn. I sure was hoping for a Crockett matchup but as usual...their soft schedule failed them at playoff time. I see where the Lexington fans are going with Liberty....and that's ok but GC beat Lex worse than Liberty did. My 2500th post and I sure hope it dead right!!!!!!!

Hey Solomon.....no BBWAHHAAWWAWW this time like after the Spring Hill game. G O GC!!!. Yes!! I AM riding their coattails just like you were riding Lexington's. I listened to this game and I could not believe how many times Lexington jumped offsides...wish that could have happened last week. Giles absoluteley took over in the 4th Qtr. Lexington had a good game plan to control the clock...it just so happens that when you make mistakes against this team...you pay! Lexington loaded up again against the run on the main running back Houston. Unfortunately...like I said...pick your poison C'mon folks...what will it take for folks to realize that Bo is the best QB in the area. The local coaches and ours was included as saying he was the best around.....HE proved it and he was the difference maker. Great job by the Bobcats and my only regret was that Crockett was not able to reach this far to play the Bobcats...but when you don't play the tough schedule...you always fall short. Big red gets to take home the goat Lexington had a great season and played hard...just overmatched...but congrats to the team

Word to GC fans....Lexington will get there very early and fill up the place. They will bring everybody and everything but the outhouse....well...maybe even that. If you are a GC fan and want to get into the game....BE EARLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that's funny! Oh yeah...well here's one that FC folks don't want anyone to hear either.....a bunch of FC players went to watch a TC scrimmage earlier this year in preseason. The group of FC players threw a bunch of firecrackers at the TC players.....that wasn't too bad... the bad part came when the TC players used some matches and "LIT" the firecrackers and threw them back at the FC players....sure got those "sweatervests" dirty and those FC fellas sure could run....(please substitute "Bama" or "Vandy" for "FC" for further use in the future).

The only good thing that came out of Alabama was... a busful of Tennessee folks going home......otherwise leave the gate open. I am so proud of the Alabama academic degrees....why when you graduate from there you will have the finest 5th grade education anywhere. As far as TC being overconfident...it ain't bragging when you can back it up!!!!

The issue was whether or not it was a forward pass or a "lateral". Whistle??? None of that will change the score. IMHO, TN high school refs are awful on any pass interference and that goes for any games being played. One reason Page played the run so hard was that they did not figure you would pass much. Some of our fans got their wish for the QB spot....I could not tell we were "better" because of that change....we still made too many mistakes. This is the third time we have been to West TN and been down close to the goal line and had a chance to win and PFFT!! The only thing I ever ask of officials is to be consistent.

we know anyone can win on any given night. but we don't load all our eggs in the old "we hope things go our way basket". we don't believe the outcome is a matter of chance, but one of choice! alabama man/FC....nice combo.............on any given night I could whip Mike Tyson and at the same time slap half of the WWF around all at once....but just like this game....IT ain't going to happen. By the way ...that crack at TC playing Mayfield.....that team has won championships in the past and has a great history....who has FC stepped up and played to promote their program???? At least TC has the guts to play whoever will play them.

I nearly "cried" when I saw the brt version and what happened at the game. It was the most "unbiased" 'well-informed" "well written" piece of HOG WASH put on here. To your credit though ...at least most of it was readable. Page was one yard away from tying the game or winning with less about a minute to go. I think you were too far away parking cars to know what happened.... The Tigers play in the "old cupcake region 6" and are now 2 & o OVER your Mid Tenn teams!!! First, Spring Hill was going to kill us and then you got on Page's bandwagon to beat LHS NOW, your a GC fan?? You had several people from West & Mid Tenn last week on Coach T tell last week to stop acting like your shoe size on this boards! Your getting old and it was never funning. Your car??
