Forrest and MTCS played 4 times last year with both teams winning 2 games. So that is not 3 wins for MTCS. Cascade, Forrest, and MTCS should be the top three teams. How they finish who knows thats why they play the games. Good luck to all the teams this year.

let's not forget one TD run got called back from a late flag and the one dropped pass that should of been caught that probably would have scored. Great job Rockets!

Dedman beat Abrigo by either 2 or 4 pts. He did not tech him.

Don't say it wouldn't have been close. Both teams had penalties that hurt. There were 2 interceptions that should have been caught by the Rockets with open field in front of them and also a touchdown pass that got dropped by our tightend. Mount pleasant also made mistakes as well. It was a good game but as always you can't make mistakes and expect to win against a good team. Good luck to Mt. Pleasant. Also, Rockets great year it was a lot of fun.

Both teams are good football teams. Cascade played better than Forrest last night , "Period!" end of story. Forrest made to many mistakes along with some bad decisions when they had the ball and against a good team you can't do that. It just wasn't our night.

You're full of it, full of what I will not say. Those boys are not arrogant or cocky. I take offense to that statement. You may here fans talk smack at games or even write smack on this website but remember those are the fans not the players. There are fans of many teams who talk smack or write smack and every once in a while you will get a player or two to write smack about one another but usually its the fans. Mckenzie deserved to win they had great pitching, made the plays when they needed to along with timely hitting, period.

We will see you guys still have to get by Summertown. Don't under estimate them they are a good team. Just like we will not be under estimating Huntington. People can get on here and say what they want but the games still have to be played.

As strong as last year, that doesn't make sense they won more games with this years team than last years team.

Mondays game is a must win game. If you lose you are done. Wednesdays game is for the Regional Championship. You can lose that game and you are still in it. The teams that win the Region get to host Fridays game the loser must travel. Looking at the brackets on TSSAA, the winner of NCS/Cascade get to host the Wednesday game.

Actually Minor's batting Avg. was .506 and yes along with the 13 get outs before the District Tour. That's pretty darn good if I say so myself.

The coaches first thought it was at 7pm Sat. but then they told me today it is at 4:30pm instead.

Great job Rockets winning the regular season District 9A. Lets keep it going in the District Tourney. Good luck boys. Also, for you Rocket fans the coaches told me that we play Sat. night at 7pm at MTC. That is our first game is the District Tourney.

Daniel Albarran from Forrest is as solid as they come. He calls his own games, great blocker and his pop time has been under 2. He is batting .477 and 3 HRs so far this season. Good luck at Maryville College next year.

I was at the game and yes the umps strikezone was not consistent but he called it the same for both teams. It was not one-sided.
