  1. Huck, I don't know for sure but I doubt out of state teams are part of the SOS formula. No doubt about it, Cleveland has played a much tougher in-state schedule. How many teams did Bradley play in Alabama (4?) with at least one team being a cupcake. I would doubt that those Alabama teams would do much to change the weaker in-state scheduling of Bradley.
  2. Huck, Your opinion that the polls don't mean much is well taken but my point is that the sportswriters believe that Cleveland had the game taken away from them. Bradley should be ranked ahead of Cleveland if they had a legitimate win in the second game.
  3. I just looked at the strength of schedule (updated 2/18). Cleveland is ranked 14 (59.19 points) and Bradley is ranked 42 (55.19 points). I also looked at the strength of schedule + success. Cleveland is 1st with 1.52. Bradley is behind Cleveland with 1.48 with two teams close behind; White Station 1.46 and Hendersonville 1.45.
  4. Check out the latest AP ranking; Cleveland is still number two, 30 points ahead of the number three ranked bradley. The sportswriters must have agreed with the Cleveland coach. http://www.coacht.com/story.cfm?doc=6244
  5. I have seen lots of players have a tough time at Rhea, open end of the gym has lots of space. The backboard seems to disappear into the vast background. The visiting team using starts the second half with an air ball or two until they adjust. I always struggled at Bradley, I hated the rubber floor (which has been replaced), the lights were always dim, and the rims looked like they have not been painted for 30 years. Also the rims were either really stiff or super-soft, I can't remember which but I didn't like them. But the overall the toughest place to play is Murphy Center.
  6. I associate the word "dominate" with a blowout game. I don't associate dominate with games that people say should have, could have, maybe next time etc.
  7. mnewballer21, How can you say that you one team dominated another when the game went to triple ot? If bradley dominated the game, then why did it take 4 tries to get the win? You must be hanging out with glue sniffer and predicting 17 point victory for the bears too.
  8. Glue, you picked Bradley by 17, it went to triple overtime last time, are you expecting some home cooking or have you been sniffing some glue? Cleveland wins by 6. Bradley's legs will be tired from Tue and Wed games. In the girl's action I will again pick Cleveland by 8.
  9. If you are going to take the time to keep the score then the team that plays to the best of its ability might have a blowout win. Get over it. If it is a JV or Middle school game, one might want to back down a bit, but for varsity forget about it.
  10. I would appreciate if someone would post the results of sat. action. I will be in Seattle with business until Friday and won't be able to check the Daily Blunder for scores. Thanks
  11. Yeah, I had to remember not to count all the dropouts that Bob Taylor keeps talking about.
  12. Its not the size of the gym it is how you play the game. The court is the same size as the rest. The seating holds about 1,500. The student body is about 1,000 unlike that cross town school which has almost double the student population of cleveland. Beside the only bad seat in the house is the visiter's bench.
