Young lady from coffee pitched great game but like it or not owens is unreal to be able to do what she does night after night. i believe if you ask our players and fans we have been impressed with your pitcher all year, and if your a fan of softball you cant sit and take away from owens. ill take giving up one run a game and come out on top most of the time.

great game to watch other than losing,but we got to worry about Columbia now. The umpire behind the plate will be at games thru district play. Last night he had a bad night both ways not just against coffee co., just like a player can. He is noted as one of best umpires in middle tennessee so he will rebound back just like the girls do when they have a bad night. Got to say this and then get mind on columbia, I still would sit and watch lincoln co./coffe co. game anytime,always a battle. just hope i get to see them play each other again thursday.

No problem here ,just dont want to see parents get all up in the air and mess up something good these two group of girls have going and thats going after each other on the field where it should be done. you are correct that both teams have had great season and would be a shame if either one of these teams dont get out of the district,but you can sure bet winner of columbia/tullahoma game tonite plans on that happening tomorrow night against loser of game tonight.

Sorry didnt give my prediction. Lets go with Lincoln Co. in another barnburner.

Best i can remember coffee didnt score any earned runs in their victory over Lincoln Co. in their win but last time i checked a good team takes advantage of another teams mistakes. Now as said in earlier post both teams deserve where they are so lets keep this friendly and have fun . And if coffee scored an earned run then i apologize. Hope both teams parents come and enjoy the game, have fun, but behave like adults. Love to watch these two teams play.

Not sure about anyone else but way this district is i wouldnt count any team out. I really believe there are 5 teams that could win the tournament and the other team im leaving out i dont think will play 2 games and go home. Good luck to all teams.

It amazing me every year when a team has success you have a few people try to tear it down.Ok i havent seen all the good teams play but best to my knowledge i havent seen a good team that didnt have a dominant pitcher. As for as Centennial beating us twice i dont remember playing them this year. We have 9 losses and 5 have come from Goodpasture and Brentwood{woudnt call either one of those teams shabby}. We have 4 seniors and Owens is a junior. Also have to agree on comment about our hitting but our defense being average is a joke. Our defense this year has been fantastic other than one game against Brentwood and one game against Coffee County. But now that i think about it keep on trying to tear us down,that only tells me we got some respect this year. Good luck to all teams as the tournaments will be beginning in a few days.

LOL nothing better than good old lincoln county/coffee county rivalry that i can say has been done with class for several years from both teams. yes love to see another game between these two teams but both have big hurdles to overcome before that is possible,meaning both have big games on saturday. good luck to all teams and lets all have fun in district 8.and yes lady falcons GIT R DUN!

Who won last night? I believe this decided 3rd place in district.

With tis district put the names in the hat and draw,you probably will come closer to right than any other way. It will be a wild one for sure.Oh come hungry as i assure you what we will be cooking will make you smack your mama! Well better not do that but food will be out of this world, grilled ribeyes,tenderloin,and chicken sandwiches,on different days,hamburgers,hotdogs,fries,cheese fries and the usual at a ballgame.Good Luck to all the teams.

Lincoln Co. has to have several to look at so here goes my picks from here: Whitney Horton,Clesea Owens,Maybern Barnes,Brittany Lopeman,Scarlet Wall, Mcclain Whitt,Kim Gentry,Christy Shutt,Whitney Gattis, I think i mentioned all starters that are seniors or juniors. Hey just having fun but who in their right mind is going to mention girls from their team with out listing all of them. Not me,not that brave.

I agrre with being tough call.Im not sure i could have made call if i was umpiring,but curious on ruling. Let me say also we caught it in stands when happened but as said earlier we didnt deserve to win so loaded up our chairs and headed home to get ready for the next game. Sounds like Coffe Co. had another exciting game against Columbia. Im not sure its going to be safe for us old people to watch the district tournament this year with out a doctor in stands.

Ok first of all waited a day to post this so would not sound like crying over loss and let me say we at Lincoln Co. know we were outplayed and didnt deserve to win but situation happened id like to know ruling on. Last batter that walked for the winning run to come in took 3 or 4 steps toward first base and then turned and went to teammates celebrating win. Am i correct that rule says she had to go to first base? Again only want to know the correct ruling and again Coffe Co. deserved the win.

Whats a real hit ? I thought if ball was hit it was an error or a hit.Just kidding ,got to have some fun to get over last nights loss. Lady Falcons hold your heads high. I still feel like your the team to beat out of district but remember this district is loaded for gun for you. When your on top everyone is shooting at you,ask Coffee Co., they have been in your situation for years.

Congragulations to Coffee with your win last night. Both teams had one inning that did not look like a typical Coffe Co. or Lincoln Co. team but we came out on the short end with this one. But let me say to our team and Coffe co. team two things,one is this was a typical game between these temas and even though we lost i love watching these two teams go at it,second both teams best stay focused in this district cause come tournament time with the teams that this district has its not a guarantee that either will get out of the district tournament cause i see several teams that could come out 1 and 2. Godd luck to all distrist 8 teams.

Lincoln co. 1 Columbia 0 Didnt get to go to this game but has been a good one as went 9 or 10 innings. If anyone knows any details of game please reply.

Just trying to keep this on top to make sure as many people possible see this that was at the tournament this weekend. Again thanks to all of you.

The Lincoln County Booster Club,coaches,and players would like to thank all the teams and supporters that came out for our tournament this weekend. It was a great success for our booster club and the community. I have already today had many people in the community say how great it was to see all the young ladies in the community and how curtious they all seemed to be. When coming in to the fields and seeing all these young ladies playing ball,sitting around talking between games was a beautiful sight,and reminds us that our young children or as they would rather us say our young teenagers are ok in my book. Again thanks to all of you and hope to see you again next year.
