Does anyone have any idea how far this second place finisher at state last year is jumping this year?

I think it was a combination of the mondo track and everyones desire to win. A lot of the competitions had people breaking PRs and even some of the records set at Vanderbilt. Some I remember were the 800 boys a 1:52 is amazing regardless of who you are, 400 boys 47??? are you kiddin me...besides the 800 best performance there hands down, Triple Jump girls and guys, Lauren Stewarts 42'5'' was the most amazing thing ive ever heard of...Shane Langford jumped 44'10'' with Josh Jones 43'7'' breaking the previous meet record. Maybe its the mondo track but I know everyone was EXTRA pumped for this meet.

Yes the Murfreesboro Stars are attending and they are VERY impressive...Not only because of Brandon but because of the team play overall...they know what each others goin to do and they dont slack off on D. They play tough D unlike alot of the teams that have the big name stars. I have to give it to the Stars I really respect their team...They carry themselves well also...

Hey Gomab could you compare Doaks to anyone near the Nashville area preferably Sumner Co. From what it sounds like he plays kind of like Tyler Troupe. Tyler can hit the three but doesnt dominate but he also plays 3A ball. So he has som ekids that match his height. I dont want to hear some biased opinion so thats why im asking for yours.

Sweat had 17 and really stepped up as the team leader. Hes our captain for a reason and he really showed it tonight. Oh by the way he also had 13 boards.

When will the rest of the rankings be produced???

How did Steven Jamison do??? Did the players coming back from football have any effect??? Kenton really exploded this game didnt he?

Dustin used to play basketball for us but quit after his sophomore year. I wish he still played.

Next year the district will be broken up in Macon Countys favor. I like most of the ugys from Macon County and I wish them good luck. But this year they are goin to need to step it up in order to compete in this always tough district

2005-2009 they will still be AA...but im not too sure if theyll be AA or AAA after that...im guessin AA

I like this almost friendly alliance we have with Greenbrier...I think its because everyone is putting DL and MLK ahead of us but I guess we just have to show them wrong

I dont know anything about Levering or the other guy...what do they add to this WH team to put them over the top of Greenbrier or Station Camp friday...

Thats in the past...the only thing that matters now is this season...Cory is gone and playing in Florida...So with this year Id go with GB over Portland...

8AA....sounds like another tossup year to me...this district will never have a year that it can predict to top team...but makes everyone work a little harder...im lookin forward to see how this year turns out...Good luck

I agree...Steven Jamison is a talented player...knows how to play the game and can step outside the arc as a post player and shot the three if needed

I dont know about our team...Station Camp isnt really known quite yet...We werent even mentioned in the 8AA part in the Tennessean...Im sure youll have Kenton and Greer and Brant on there but from us itll prolly be Brinkley cause he actually played well last year...but well see

I dont know much about Hunters Lane...but I know some of the Hville guys and although they might not have muc height they can shoot the three and the execution of these guys are incredible...They set screens to perfection and Michael Hubert and Johnson can do damage if they are left open...I might be attending this game on Monday so Ill post how this game went

I too am waiting for the player rankings GoMab...Catsbball and I are really looking forward to those rankings
