Word on the street is Austin Peay is a frontrunner. Wow just think of the combination of Tyrone Caldwell and Justin Blake at the 1 and 2 postions next year. Not to mention that Drake Reed will be back in the mix. The Govs would once again be the team to beat in the OVC. I wish Blake the best of luck in the recruiting process and the rest of his senior year.

Where are the high jumpers at?? I can remember when the mid state had some good high jumpers. What is the highest anyone has jumped this year?? Who are some of the best ever in the mid-state?

While you guys are bickering about things that don't even pertain to the game, I am going to make a perdiction on the game..... big crowd, good atmosphere, great facilities...but i am afraid that the "Magic Carpet Ride" will be over for the Bulldogs... could be wrong have been before but I just think that reality will finally sweep in on the Dawgs. Good luck to both teams..

Hang on Cowboy!!!! Shane is a great high school player. He has comitted to Murray State and will be a great player in the OVC. But you are comparing him to a phyiscally better player. Tyler will play either in the SEC or ACC if he doesn't decide to go early if the opportunity arrises of course. Shane is a harder worker, and a better shooter....and a better attitude but if you are a college coach or scout you tell me what kid would you recruit.

Finally!!!! I can't believe it. I now have more respect for giles co. fans. I am glad that I am not the only person to see past the all fancy play and notice a lack of self-discipline and team discipline. The players can only do so much discipline to themselves. They can come in with the right attitude and be coachable but if the coach is not instilling a tight program everyone is wasting their time. Just like I said in the "Who can stop Tyler Smith" thread.....easy himself.

I can tell you who can stop him.........Tyler Smith, that's who!!! For the love of the game Tyler don't become a punk. Play the game that you love and play it with some heart, not like you just walked off the AND 1 court. I have gone to bat for you many times talking about how good an attitude he has. All I have heard in so far this year is that you are trash talking and not playing D just snowbirding to get dunks. last year you let your play take care of the talking, don't take it for granted that you are going to march all the way throough the state again.
