Hello..Just an old washed up sycamore player here to clear up a few comments about sycamore's coaching staff. First the head coach is Johnny Staggs and prior to being named head coach he had been an assistant(and a very good one at that) since 2005. Daniel smiley played college ball at roane state and graduated in 2004. Matt carrigan graduated in 2007 and played college ball at Freed hardman university.( Not sure if i spelled it right.) Coach staggs should be a good head coach bc he knows the game well and is what i would consider to be a players coach. Like i said im an old washed up ball player from Sycamore,got to looking at coacht and read this thread. Sure brings back some great memories when bull,myself,crafword and knight just to name a few, played for Sycamore. Here is hoping Sycamore goes all the way and good luck to Staggs and staff this year. Also, if all else fails...get the BEAT BOX going guys.

Ok lue....now u really done it!!! I wanted to go into this season to play some really good ball. Now all i really wanna do is beat cheatham and go 3-3 against u. Keep talkin about how chetahm is the best. I could belive harpeth is a contender but i refuse to belive how good u THINK u are. Keep talkin......it gives me incentive to bring down the cubs........from this point on i dont care who wins the district........as long as it aint the cubs!!!!

Just wondering who can say that they have the best team bags,and who looks the coolest as they walk in to the gym.....also who can say that there bus gets the best gas mileage on away games????

All i know is if u dont get pumped up by listining to Elton john,or Simon and Garfunkel u are seriously crunked up. Another one that gets my hype is none other than Kenny G. When u here those fast saxaphone rhythms strummin through your ears, u get chill bumps!!!! Another man that is good is Barry white..........they say his music is for love makin......i say it's for .........PLAYMAKING!!!!!! U also need to to listen to the rythmic sounds of lfo....... shooby do wap and scooby snacks!!!

After seeing both players play on numerous accounts it is obvious to me that Shane Dansby is by far the better player.He is more athletic, can shoot,rebound block ,and yes i dare say dunk better than the birdman. dont get me wrong tyler is good but Dansby is way better. I mean, just think if Dansby had the supporting cast like tyler does,Harpeth wpuld win state easily.He is not lazy like tyler is on the latter part of the ball(defense) and is much more than a 1 dimensional playerthan the infamous TYLER SMITH. I hear the team to beat is harpeth.I hear the have a new transfer name franky,or pal zavala i think. If they get any coaching they will be the team to beat.They are a bunch of rag tag mean machine crusin for a brusin billy bad bottoms.They will definitly be a state contender

Smokin75,why such the harsh remarks???? I only stated who everyone thought was better and pointed out obvious flaws in tyler smith's game,evenn with those flaws he is still good,real good,maybe the best at his age right now,so please dont take it so personal.

Sycamore lost a key player(sal zavala)this week,he was a big part of there offense.Although he is gone the team took part in a scrimmage the other day against david lipscomb and won,while they were currently 2-2 i belive when sal was on the team.Syacmore is still a very dangerous team and will always be a competitor in the district and region.As always they will hae trouble when the get out of the district and region finals.If sycamore has key players step up they will be fine> THey have a solid junior core and if the step up they will be fine.THey still have good seniors in true pierce and tinch.The key to sycamore's season lies in two players,Dustin watts who is an excelent shooter,and josh rives who is all around good player.These two,if they can get there confidence up,can prove to be the key in sycamore's hopes for a winning season.

Why is is that every time someone tries to point out a weakness on giles co team(trueballer and me) u people get so offended?? WE are just tellin u all the truth,we know giles county is good,even i do,but when some says tyler cant shoot (in which he is lackin in that department)U all get mad?? So please try to accept the truth that even giles has weakness.Yes ,even i think they are good,so there u go wneely and krogers!!!!

With all the talk that seems to swirl around these 2,i was just wonderin what u people think? Who is the better player,and why is he the better player.......and who is more overrated?? Corey or Tyler???

I apllaued u oldschool.......u know a good basketball player when u see one.He is so much better than tyler smith it aint even funny.......well i take it back...he is definently the more complete player........oldschool what r your thoughts on tyler smith

was just wonderin cause we go to the same school and was wonderin since i clearly see that u talk up the best team and fans(sycamore) so if there was some way u could tell me i would appreciate it
