nice post cheer4life, if sycamore wants to stay in this game they will have to do two things: 1. contain the run and 2. pass the ball well. sycamore has to stop the running game of the strong greenbrier backs. sycamore will also have to come out passing the ball unless they want to have a lot of 3 and outs. with mccain back in the line up i would hope to see more passing out of sycamore. they also have another up and coming receiver that they seem to call dub (i guess thats a code name or something). this should be a good game. Why are saying that 9aa is better than 10aa from the past? That was then this is now. New players, diffenent teams, new year, this year will be different. There is no dominate team over there like there was last year.

If he stunk at baseball then he wouldn't have gotten Sycamore's 2 out of their 3 hits against Harpeth yesterday in the 1-0 victory. Gann really impressed me with his ability to change speeds, and he can hit ball hard as well. Other than Gann no one from Harpeth has impressed me.

Is fairview down this year??? Page made 8 erroers and only got beat 9-5? Granted a win is a win but man we played against page played horrible and won,then played against them saturday,played horrible and lost. Is marshall the best team in dist.9aa again? How about dustin watts of Sycamore.This girl is the real deal. I mean he can stroke 3's,drive,rebound,and dish out dimes left and right. He scored 24 points in a loss to the infamous Giles Co. I am gonna say this now before anyone does,watch out for this player he is the REAL DEAL. Plus i heard somethin for all you ladies out there.......he is a real love machine. Back to the court though....we play b-ball on sundays at various places and he fills it up from down town i mean he even calls "bank" on some 3's not to mention he calls bank when he shoots a lay up. he has a great left hand too

The top A teams are very well coached and play hard, but the top AA teams just have too many players. AA would probably dominate.

the coach prob holds tryouts because to let the overwhelming number of freshman know that they have to pay dues if they wanna play. That way the freshman who stay that gives the coach an idea of who has character, and who will stick it out even if the dont play. Plus the prob get to practice with the varsity to gain experince.Does this school have a freshman baseball team?

Mostly if freshman make the team and dont dress varsity(cause if a freshman does dress it means that they can atleast have a chance to play) they shouldnt travel and potentialy cause more of a head ache for coaches(keeping up with players, extra equipment etc.) Judging by the fact he dont play jv this particular school most have an established program. To answer your question yes it is common practice to not let freshman travel with the varsity if the dont dress for varsity

How did the dominate..........i mean did they dominate with pitching or the bats? I heard that a kid hit it over with 2 outs in the top of the seventh and that it was a 2 run shot that made the score 7-6 harpeth,and that cheatham couldnt answer back. What seems to be cheatham's problerm if there is a problem lue? Is it hitting pitching or fielding (that one inning killed yall when u guys couldnt field a ground ball)
