Please try to find one person at lipscomb who has been recruited. Unless asking kids in kindergarten to come to our school is recruiting then lipscomb has done nothing wrong. And I like trash talking but don't say lipscomb recruits b/c that its the furthest thing from the truth. But lets talk trash about the game not about lipscomb having rich people. Dont hate them b/c they are rich. And I am not rich so dont think I am speaking as a rich person.

Why do they have an unfair advantage? Is it because Lipscomb recruits? No, maybe it's because they work hard and they have great coaching and some pretty good athletes every now and then. If you can give a player that has been recruited by Lipscomb, go ahead. But I promise you won't find one.

I am not slighting Brewer at all, I was just simply saying that last year John was the best player on Portland's team. Corey is awesome. Anyone who puts up 50 is very good. I just think he's a little overrated but how can you not be when you are as rated as he is.

I think if Brewer doesnt put up points then Portland will not win b/c there is no way their supporting cast is as good as last year. But I wouldnt call John a supporting cast. I would call him the reason they went to the state final four.

Good point. No one from lipscomb has posted on this thread about the game. Lipscomb doent think they are gonna kill anyone left in their way. Who cares if Lipscomb has alot of players? HAlf of them are freshman and sophs who dont see the field.

Brewer is a pure scorer. Thats all there is to it. He can get a shot whenever he wants. I am anxious to see if he can distribute the ball when teams start doubling him or if he will take bad shots. Dansby had 35 and Lil Goodwin had his share. Brewer had at least 3 dunks and maybe 4. I cant remember. Fun game to watch

The reason local players from Nashville are not in the top of the rankings is b/c they are not as good as the guys from Memphis. Im from Nashville but the Memphis boys hes got in the top of the rankings deserve to be right where they are.

Oh yeah. Tyner, if you are gonna talk trash about schools then please support your team unlike you did last year when Lipscomb drove 2 hours and outnumbered the HOME team's fans.

I like all the talk going on here about the game but please dont come with the " Lipscomb's a private school so they must recruit" and crap like that. Just talk about the game and get off tryin to say how all the Lipscomb people are rich. And whoever thinks our secondary is weak or whatever you said, you have to be kidding. We are better this year than last year in the secondary. I believe some kid named Austin Rogers is in the top 5 in the midstate in interceptions. Watch out for #13. the kid is nasty!

Henry Harris is the best in the midstate. And give me a break about Glencliffe not having any athletes. They got athletes they just might not know how to use them.

Jerimiah Crutcher is a great shooter. I witnessed it first hand in summer league. Alex Renfro is a good player but I wouldn't call him a shooter. No disrespect to him b/c hes very good. Topperman, don't come on here talkin bout D when this thread is about good shooters.

Look out for Marshall Bryan from Hillsboro. He didnt play last year but the kid has a great stroke. Best shooter in the city.

Corey Brewer...... Shooting- streaky but when he is on there is no stoppin him Handling- i have played against him and saw him in the state tournament and i haven't been impressed with his handles Defense- his on ball D is mediocre. that will keep him from playin in the sec along with his strength. I hope he does well at Florida and helps them, I just think some things gotta change. conjbo- ur a little girl. dont get on here talkin about Brewer. he roasted you.

You are right SMOKESALOT, I dont know you but I would have to say that GoMab has seen a little more ball than about everyone in the state. Dont get so mad. You must be bitter about something to be talkin like this to Gomab.

The teams from TN in the classic were Tennessee Travelers, Memphis Y, and Midstate Ballerz. From what I saw the Y was playin some good ball but I only saw one game of theirs.

Smokey- Sounds like you're the bitter one. What's your problem with Gomab? Give the man some respect! I don't see you goin to every HS game you can to try and find out about people so you can put them on COACH T for FREE! All I know is tyler smith is a great player but don't try to tell me he's some great shooter. Holla back if you want me to list some great shooters!

Smokeyvols- Can you not see the reasons that Gomab is ranking the Delks ahead of Tyler. I'll tell you this, it's not bc Tyler would not play on his AAU team. Gomab does not hold grudges. The main reason the twins are ahead of him is there college potential. Tyler is a 6'5" 4 man who can't shoot. He is a great HS player but the Delks are 6'4" and 6'5" guards who can shoot, handle, and jump. Next time don't question Gomab if you haven't thought all the way thruogh it. He knows a little bit more about it than we do. no disrespect to Tyler. He is still great!
