Looking for a score from yesterdays game with Dyer and Obion????? Anyone, anyone? kojo

Good game for January. Bellamy played about 12-14 minutes, Witherspoon played 20-25 minutes but was a little hampered. Roney still in a boot. Thought the kids played hard from both teams.

Rumor is Witherspoon will play though is not 100%, Bellamy may play but only sparingly. Hope they both get better. Good luck to both teams.

FYI, Coach Brown gets the highest praise from McMillan also, he thinks alot of the coach, kids and the program at Jackson Co. and says it. I know both of them and I enjoyed watching them coach against each other, hated one had to lose but relished in the opportunity to watch the game. Thanks to Martin and Westview and to Gainsboro and Jackson County.

Congratulations to Martin Middle as they defeated Ridgemont 41-40 in the Championship for West Tennessee. Back and forth game all night, hate anyone had to lose. Martin did a great job in the tourney and played well the last month of the season. Best of luck in HS at Westview, they should continue to be really good if the program stays intact.

Just heard that Westview has now lost for the season their starting post player and their starting point guard, Meghan Fuqua (ACL)(UTM signee) and Selena DeSantis (broken nose). Fuqua had been out since mid December and DeSantis out as of last week. Unbelievable luck for what I thought was the best AA team in the state after the summer and in Nov and Dec. I know they still have alot of talent there, they have been a fun group to watch the past couple of years with less, maybe they can regroup and make a run.
