I don't know who you are Greenfieldfan (personally). If you will notice, I haven't got on Coach T for a "long" time. I have in the past and have seen "you" hide behind your screen name too years ago. Making cocky, snarky comments as well. I understand that's part of it. Let me ask you, do you agree with some of the comments directed at GC? Surely you don't. Let me assure you I don't disrespect players on this site ever! I have complimented Chloe many times. The Lehue girls from Westview, Shontelle Poston from Milan, Kyndall Kavin from Westview, Chassity Fussel from Obion County and many others. I'm not sure you even know who they are, but I would think you do . I like the way Chloe plays. She reminds me of Heather Butler if you remember her, not sure if you do. A player that could take over a game anytime they want. Heather Butler was one of the best AA players to ever come from District 13 AA. Went on to play professional basketball. Chloe is in that same category for 14 A. I dont appreciate your comment either about giving GC a bad name. I have been following GC basketball and all sports since the 80's. So I do know a little bit about basketball around 13AA and 14A. I have said numerous times that Greenfield had the "most talented "team there and they should win. But the fact is, anything can happen in a game. That's why they play them. So I don't know where your getting your information from. Do I have snappy replies sometimes to some of the ridiculous post that people put on this site? Yes I'm guilty. I guess you never have. If you notice I'm only replying to comments like "Monkey Stomped". "Greenfield would beat GC 10 out of 10 times". "Greenfield would stomp GC and Westview too". So let's not be accusing someone that you know nothing about. Now, you can take offense to my comments, but tell me where I'm wrong? I usually don't respond to things said about me personally. I know how Coach T works. You went a little over the top and I don't appreciate it. I'm passionate about GC. Just as you are about Greenfield I'm sure. As I said, I didn't graduate from GC, my wife did. I'm just an avid sports fan and support all GC sports and will always do so. I would expect you would do the same thing about Greenfield sports. Trust me, I'm not jealous! Jealous of what? Please elaborate? GC has been very successful and I pull for teams from this area because it speaks well of 13AA and 14A and how competitive it is when GC is not involved. You obviously have mistaken me for someone else.

That's crazy. I was there to watch all those Livingston Academy/GC games. I always hated being on their side of the bracket!

Never said they weren't a special team. Basketball can be a fickle game. Anything can happen when you "actually" play the game. Pioneer 42 said it best. During the Heather Butler days, or maybe a little before her time I'm not sure (I'm old), GC went to the state tournament undefeated 31-0 best of my memory. Played one game, got beat and went home. The fact remains, the game has to be played. Greenfield did have the most talented team there. It may not be all Greenfield fans on here posting "curb stomped ", "win 10 out of 10" (about GC I might add), all GC fans are saying, is what I have been mentioning above. GC does have a rich history both in AA and A girls basketball. I for one, make no excuses for that . I go way back to the 80's with GC girl's basketball. I didn't graduate from GC , but my wife did. I'm just an avid sports fan. When people on here make insulting remarks like have been said about GC, I'm going to provide some facts and defend my team. There are student athletes on here. I guess we'll never know if Greenfield would have won the Gold Ball. Right now it's down To GC, Loretto, Clarkrange and Greenfield. Any of which could have won it all. Greenfield definitely had the best chance of doing so.

These two programs are on a different level in terms of history. Check back with when you have a few more state Tournament appearances and some Gold or Silver balls, Regional, Substate and District Championship plaques, then we can talk! As I stated on numerous post, Greenfield is the favorite to win based on paper and they very well may . This year. Repeat apperances are what shows a quality program. You have a good coach, not sure about your feeder schools, but GC is locked and loaded. Has been since the late 80's. If they do win this year, congratulations. Your girls worked hard and would deserve it. Good day. And those are the facts too!!

I would somewhat agree. I haven't seen Macon County. I may have picked Westview. Without seeing Macon County that just a guess, since GC played Westview. Westview is good.

Pretty much the same Greenfield team though...what's your point? And according to you Greenfield fans , you guys were the perennial "self appointed" State Champions last year. What happened ? Oh yeah, GC brought home the Gold trophy. Once again, better on paper , doesnt translate to Championships. You think Greenfield is unbeatable? And just out of curiosity, how many times has Greenfield been to the Boro? How many state championship Gold Balls do they have in their trophy case? How many Silver Balls do they have? Let's compare trophy cases!

Best player in AA in the whole state. It's a joke she didn't win Miss Basketball at least once. Miss Basketball is a joke and too political. That's alright. We won back to back state championships under that 70-1 span!

That's why they play the game! My point is...yes you guys were better on "paper" and are this year too. You didn't loose what GC lost due to Graduation this year, so you may very well win. The fact is, we brought home the Gold Ball! Talent doesn't matter when it comes to heart and determination like GC had last year. Fact is, games like that happen all the time. Greenfield could have shot 80% and won. Our team refused to loose against all odds. Y'all may very well win it it this year and you should, based on paper. If they even finish it. Which is a travesty. Right now no one is going to win until they decide to play. From reading what coach Wilkins and Trevathan quoted in post game interviews. It's a sad situation all around. You might want to read what both coaches stated.

Correct. we didnt have all of our team there. We loose a lot of them because Coach Wilkens doesn't schedule cream puff teams. That's why we are ready for the long haul, because we always play a tough non conference schedule

Greenfield last year wasn't in the same class as Loretto obviously, who put them out and GC beat Loretto! We brought back the Gold Ball in case you forgot! Now, if your saying the coach cost them the game that's a different story. Or sounds like an excuse when you have Ms. Basketball and another good player that was the favorite to win it all. They had the best talent on paper last year too. The games are decided on the court.

Didn't say anything about "camp". I'm talking about "coach of the year" which doesn't include summer camp. I still haven't had anyone answer how much offensive and defensive talent did Clarkrange loose from last year? GC literally lost at least 75% of both. Did they loose pretty much their entire starting lineup like GC did? Your referring to something that may not even materialize. You guys have Greenfield and we have Loretto to get by and advance. That will be a big task for both teams. Just saying.
