Chris Jones would be a great fit at SC, but what about a name that has not been talked about and that is Brandon Johnson he is a home town boy.

Perry wants to get out of portland because he can't win there anymore. He has been there for a while and burned a lot of bridges. He is ready for a change and it will only be on his terms. He loved the Blackman job but he could not take all of his coaches with him. That will be the factor in this job. I know that he has applied for sevral jobs and pulled his name out of the running because of that reason.

LA is is a good team, but they are not great. They are hard to beat when cody sells is on the mound, but after him the pitching drops off. The great thing about baseball is Cody sells cannot pitch every game.

Smtih County did beat Cannon Co. 8-6 and 3-2 last friday. They played York last night and won 15-4. They are tied with Livingston and Dekalb for first, with three home district games left. Those players are really playing well right now. They are swinging the bats and there fielding is coming along. They are fun team to watch. Also there pithcing has been great. They play upperman, dekalb, and livingston. If they when out they will win the district. GO OWLSSSS.

Valdosta is the real deal. That staduim is filled every Friday night. The town shuts down and it is all about football in that town. I grew up in south Georgia and that is were the best football is played in the state of Georgia.

The regular season is all jim dandy, but the only time it counts is tournament time. They only take the top two teams from the tournament not the regular season district winner and another team. Come the end It is anybodys game to win. Watch out for Smith, Jackson, and Cannon counties they will create some mess in the tournament.

York won and they hit the ball very well. Smith county hit the ball it was just right at them. I do believe that yorks pitchers did a better job of moving the ball around. Brady has a good live are but his problem is in his head. He thinks he is a superstar. Well giving up back to back home runs should bring him back down to earth.

It is sad that person takes this past time away from the kids. It is a descrace to the game that a person like this is coaching. I think that the school should do something about it. If they don't then that shows how much they care about there programs. It is just a shame!!!!!!

Hold the phone there. Macon Co. is good and Coach Deering does a great job with that program, but I would say state that is a little crazy to talk about this early in the season. There good but not state bound this year.

Gallatin is a great team this year. They have great pitching and play solid D. They also have a great coaching staff that works hard at it. We have played them twice and they are a tuff team. My hats off to them and the job there coaches have done.

Yes they lost to Monterey, but look who else they have played. Gallatin twice, Lebanon, Creek Wood, and Cascade. All of these teams are very sound baseball teams.

Smith Co is not that bad either. They are 0-6 right now but look who they have played some good AAA schools. exp. Gallati twice and lebanon. The owls are a lot better than they were last year. They are going to sneak up and shock some people as well. They have some good pitching and are playing some good defense.
