  1. Kingston lost a horribly officiated game last night. The PK that was called was ridiculous. It was keepers ball and the attacker just fell down. Another goal, the Kingston keeper had his hand on the ball completely stretched out and a player for LC poked it out of his hands for a goal. The refs obviously don't know the rules about keepers. I was just a spectator at the game last night, but was very disappointed in the officiating. Kingston played a heck of a game barring the 2 bad calls. That really hurt there chances in winning the game. I am not trying to take anything away from LC, but they got a cheap win last night. LC's other 2 goals were nice, but not getting the PK would have kept Kingston in the game longer last night.
  2. No, Dayzero graduated this year and I also believe CAK will win this game by 2 or 3!!
  3. The only reason L.C. shut down McMillan is because they doubled him the whole night and sometimes had three men around him. So, goals against Beech, Gibbs, and Oneida in the district semis don't mean anything. You are overlooking an excellent player that is capable of scoring against any team you put against him.
  4. Gibbs is an overlooked team by many. Their keeper is top notch and they can be dangerous on offense. They are a very talented team and I am giving them the nod in this game Gibbs 2- L.C. 1 !! Good luck to both sides.
  5. This will be a hard fought match by both sides. Kingston's defense limited L.C. to few threating shots on goal and only allowed 1 goal overall. I know the offense lacked last night, but don't ever count out a Kingston team that has worked hard all year long to get where they are. Should be a good game, can't wait to play.
  6. Well, like always this will be a great game and I can't wait to play. It should be close, but you never know. Kingston is ready to get revenge for the loss earlier in the season. See ya there boys.
  7. Kingston is ready for Oneida and they have 2 starters back they were missing. I know Oneida played without Ruben in the first game, but I still don't think it will be enough. Well, can't wait for the game.
  8. Well fought game by both Kingston and Oneida. Oneida's goal was a great header by their sweeper who played well the whole game. Oneida had a chance to make it 2-0, but a pk was hit way right. The call was a bad one, but that's going to happen from time to time. Kingston scored off a shot deflection after several passes were made to work the ball up the field to get a shot off. Good job by Kyle to be there to put it in the back of the net. This probably will not be the last time these two teams meet this year, so look for the rematch in district play. I would like to send my prayers with Oneida's player from Brazil and his mother. He must be going through a hard time.
  9. Kingston got back on track last night against Loudon and our offense got back in the swing of things. Oneida may have a better record, but look at the teams we lost to. Farragut, L.C., and Columbia Acc.. We got one of our missing players back last night and he played well. The game Friday will be close, but I know everyone from Kingston will be ready to play and are looking for the big "W."
  10. I'd say if anything we will got to a 4-4-2, but that is coaches decision. We could stay in a 3-5-2. I don't know yet.
  11. Well he plays in the midfield. Both of them do. The non-injured one may get to play. I don't know yet.
  12. I say it will be close because it's a rivalry game. The game last year was great. What is the time and date of the game?
  13. Drew McMillin from Kingston has 17 goals this season. Gotta give him some props!
  14. Well I am ready for the challenge myself. I have had the date we play L.C. circled on my calendar since I got my schedule. Really can't wait to play this game because all this talking on this site is about to be over. I am just ready to see how we(Kingston) step up to the plate missing 2 starters. As the starting of this thread stated, we will surely see what kind of a year it is for Kingston.
  15. I know that missing starters should not be the reason for losing, but it does take time to get used to new players playing in new spots. Kingston is on spring break this week and we will be preparing for L.C. because, as all of our games are, this game is real important for us. The only thing left to be said is that Kingston will be ready for L.C. and I can't wait for the game.
  16. This was a tough weekend for Kingston. After starting the weekend with a win against Beech, we were down to starters for the second and third game. We didn't play well in the Columbia Acc. game, and had a tough time finishing our shots. As metioned by stevscarb, the refs were terrible in all games, but they were really bad in the Overton game. Overton kept playing the long ball all game and got a couple of lucky goals to beat us. It was just one of those weekends when everything seemed to go wrong. Bad refs, missing starters, and all around bad play as a team. It's too bad that we lost one of our players before we play L.C.. I know they want us at 100% when we play them because this game is such a good one always. All though we could be a couple of starters down for the game, it will still be a good game.
  17. The game against Ootlewah was a good game and Kingston played their hearts out. Michael Day had a couple of good saves, like always, against a couple of tough shots. Ootlewah was a good team and was a good game for Kingston. Their was plenty of chances for Kingston to score:1. Penalty kick by Scarbarough that hit the post. 2. Cross by Taylor headed by McMillin that was saved by the keeper. 3. Throw in headed by O'Keefe also saved by keeper. 4. A couple of other shots were close as well. Kingston came out slow against Harriman, but found their rythm and put the game away. Enough said about that game. McMillin is not the only scoring threat, and the defense has stepped up tremendously. Both Scarbarough brothers have the ability to find the back of the net any game, the other forward playing beside McMillin has shown the ability to score when he gets his opprotunities, and they are very dangerous with crosses from Taylor on the outside. Kingston travels to Nasville this weekend and plays some tough competitors in Beech, Covington, and Overton. The Redmond tournament will tell a lot about what kind of team Kingston has.
  18. I was just wondering what everyone thinks about the competition at this tournament and what games will be interesting!
  19. Luc is not coaching Kingston anymore, but their new coach is very good and has led them so far to #8 in the state and a 3-0-1 record.
  20. Who do you play for soccerplayer. I was just wandering, so when we beat you I'll know.
  21. Does anyone know if preseason rankings are even out? Yeah, this year will be a great year for this district and I think it will probably be close at the end. Home field advantage is always crucial for these games.
  22. Kingston will be tough this year! They have a new coach who is really good. They're will probably be some young starters with a lot of talent. They still have one of the best keepers in the state(Michael Day). They're biggest scoring threat in Drew McMillin. And they will have a tough D this year lead by Amos O'keefe and Joe Scarbarough.
  23. I haven't seen them play since last year, but our team is going to the Sweetwater jamboree and i look foward to seeing the top teams at the tournament. I do remember it was a rebuilding year for Sweetwater last year so I wonder if they have gotten better. I guess we will see in March!
  24. Orcat, I am neither the clown, tight end, or the camo guy, but I know them well. The clown goes to almost every sporting event and is an awesome fan! I have never heard him say a curse word at a game. Second of all, the tight end is tall and not fat at all. The same goes for him, he is a great supporter of the basketball team and plays 2 sports for Kingston! The camo guy is probably one of the greatest Kingston fans ever! He gets the crowd so fired up and anytime their is a lull in the game he gets the Krazies fired up! By the way Orcat, I am sitting here with a basketball player from Kingston and he is fully supportive of the Kingston Krazies! Too bad you have no one to support Oak Ridge! Krazies for life!!
