Being from neither side and just reading the post it seems to me that the Harpeth Hall "affiliations" should be listening to their own advice. I've always believed sportsmanship should be shown on and off the field, the people who have placed post from Harpeth Hall degrade and cut other teams down, the people who have placed post from Brentwood Academy merely state facts. I think that if your going to make accusations against another person/team being cocky and not showing sportsmanship you should be able to back it up, and not also be doing those things. Some advice to you... all the things you say about Harpeth Hall going to state, prove it and you wont have to worry about these kinds of threads.

Tarrah Tucker will do an awesome job leading Hickman co this year!! she is an awesome pitcher adn only a sophmore i look for her to turn some heads this year... and i think they will get out of their division...all overton has is hickerson... good luck!!

Ok thank you SportzGuy for your novel on how to be a good coach but i dont really see the relation to this thread. I have heard of Don Lockridge bc my sister played for his Eagle Summer team and i know of Sam Camp bc he coach the firebirds... but who is Ricky Gully?

Its so early to tell what anyone will have - there is so much young talent this year that nobody knows where anyone stands. I agree with Neil... that a lot can happen between now and the end of may. But i think definatly, Goodpasture, beech, davidson, dickson, giles, father ryan, both brentwoods, david lipscomb and hunters lane will all be teams from midstate that will have an appearance in memphis this year.

Back to the young catchers... i've seen the cruisers, explosion and warriors (now nighthawks 12) all play. And i want to give credit to hannah erwin. she does an oustanding job catching and hitting... she catches one of the hardest throwing pitchers around, Riley Mashburn - who also could use a little credit.. she is 12 years old and throws 58 mph. But hannah gets the job done behind and at the plate... good luck to her at MJ and summer this year.

This year seems to be one of those years were lots of schools have young players that are very talented. Davidson has 2 young pitchers that are gonna do great for them, Goodpasture has a young pitcher and ss that are good ball players, brentwood high has lots of young talent and cavara behind the plate, brentwood academy has a young team once again with a pitcher a ss and outfielder, ryan has lots of young girls too another team people dont talk to much ab is MJ they are loaded with young ball players.

BGA will be alright this year i think. They dont have a very strong division and BA and FR will be difficult for them but other than those 2 i dont see them having very many problems... good luck to the team

Brentwood has soo much potential this year - and all yall saying stuff about pitchers and not having what it takes-- i want to see you out practicing 7 days a week throwing 4 games a day = dont put all the weight on them. a pitcher is only as good as her team is...and all the stuff about meek... hitting won state for them... hitting won district for them it takes 9 girls to play ball. i think bhs has plenty of talent this year - i hope they will do good! good luck girls.

BA... who knows how they will be this coming season? They have a new coach and a new pitcher. Sara Meek will definatly be a hard act to follow but i think the sophmore will work hard and have a good defense behind her. The lady eagles have a steady leadership with with 3, 4 year starting seniors returning. The eagles are not in a very strong division, excluding ryan, so i expect to see them in memphis this year but will have to rely on how well they hit to make a 2nd attempt at a state title.
