i dont think that running up the score is too bad unless the coach keeps his starters in for a long time.... i know some teams put their defenders up front and put Jv players in and like say only two touch or only one touch shots or crosses only so coaches try their best to not run up the score...and if the team really doesnt like to be scored on soo much they can always forfeit so...its up to the opposing team. sometimes games like that can help both teams out...the scoring team it will help work things they practice in practices and the opposing team it could help form things and learn from things to make them better.... i know when we played Dalton even though they beat us like 5-0 or something like that...we as a team learned from them scoring so much on us and we improved from that.

im sort of suprised. i didnt think that they would score two goals but i though it would be a really close score. even though they have a losing record they have played a lot of hard teams so... also it wasnt as surprising because when playing on notre dame's field anything can happen.... another surprise was the defense of ccs...this was probably the only time that they have struggled like all year...except for gps and PJII. but even in those two games they didnt struggle like they did against notre dame so.... i thought it was really funny when the notre dame coach was quoted in the chattanooga newspaper to say that the weakness of ccs' team is their defense....im pretty sure thats the first time ive heard someone say that.

no offense but i was sort of disappointed with the amount of grace fans that were there...i was hoping for more....i think there was about twice as many ccs fans than grace fans (mainly speaking of the kids not adults) which is kind of weird for it being at grace...but who knows why that happened....i know there were a lot of ccs people that didnt come because of the covenant game so maybe thats true with grace fans as well

i know our boys will be out in full support....as soon as we saw the soccer schedule we put this game in our calanders as one we cant miss...haha i cant wait....lets go chargers!!!

you can definately count on three things -a big crowd -a close game -and tempers flaring IT WILL BE FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!!

i would disagree though...ooltewah is better than shelbyville....at least they played better vs. ccs than shelbyville did (even though shelbyville scored on ccs' awesome goalie)

...because the people who do the rankings think that they are better...

one change is needed in ccs' record...you can give them another tie because they tied JPII in the ladies championship tournament...championship game (ccs ended up winning in pks) also with that game i think ccs should definately be higher than 11th...my opinion of course.

i give ccs a vote mainly because the shot count was to their favor... there were about 5 shots by ccs that hit crossbar in that game...very unsatisfying result for the chargers i agree that they are really good this year especially proving that they can handle a team like PPII...they beat them in PKs even though in that game PPII had a shot count of like 30 to ccs's like 7 so...

i do believe that in your records you still get a tie...since its a tournament and you have to have a winner.

yeah... it is a tournament...so you cant have tie games...it stinks but thats just what you have to do....

the siegal goal came with only 2 and a half minutes left and it was a shot from outside the box that bounced off the keeper and fell right in front and was put in by an open player in the box. both teams had a lot of shots on that game and a lot of oportunities. both teams played well but ccs controlled the game better.

she was tested versus seigal with about 14 shots some more that werent recorded.... the girls are doing just fine without charity even though that would have made them better... in the eastridge game the starters only played half the game or less and the players who did play were told that they could only score on crosses in the air not on the ground and it had to be a one touch.... so ccs was definately not trying to score most of the time so...

yes please dont start the grace and ccs thing. we dont care if grace "pays their respects" or not they can do it if they feel like it but hey maybe in their oppinion they are still better than us... all we know is that we think we are better than them and they can think what they want

good job CAK.... i am very glad to have played u guys and u definitely took control of the game. im the guy that stopped your goal from going in right before the halftime wistle...sry boys lol. you guys are a very classy team and i definitely look forward to play you guys next year. maybe we will be able to see u in regular season. i just was curious how number 7's arm is doing. im pretty sure that is who got hurt in the game. i also want to say that he is a great player and prob. the hardest guy i have had to gaurd this year and that is saying a lot with the teams that we have played.

ccs i think loses 9 seniors....after losing 11 last year....and like 10 the year before.... of those 9 seniors 5 were starters.

the game was definitely the dirtiest game i have played in. both sides but definitely more on FRA's side. it is pretty sad when you have to get cops to come and escort the refs away from the game....the FRA fans were rediculous and kept the ref on the fan side of the field away from the game a couple of times when calls should have been called. our keep throughout the whole tournament got jacked up by the other team multiple times w/o refs calling much. the refs this year were pretty bad....we almost never had a game that was decided by the either too picky or not as picky calling of the refs. i was glad to play CAK in the finals because at least they are a team that shows class and dont yell at the refs or other players.

thanks boys for the comments that helps us out a lot. umm anybody ontheir team that is really fast and dangerous (like a mid or a forward). do they like to play it in the middle or on the outsides? does anyone know?

yeah 2 of the 3 pks given to ca were pretty bad calls so maybe he's complaining about that lol...right.... no but they thought that they should have had like 3 more pks (one of them yes they should have...handball in the box) so thats why they are complaining about the reffing.

i heard that grace played really well against zion and that the score didnt show what the game was like. i heard that the refs were pretty bad and that the scored should have been more like 6-1 if not more so i think when u say grace is 1/4 as good as CAK you might be underestimating them....esp. with that 5-0 thrashing you are predicting. i dont think it will be that harsh i think maybe a 2-0 game but u never know what will happen in state.

alright here is the info i got from eurosportscoreboard.com record 19-1-1 they tied dyersburg(9-2-5) 0-0 they lost to Sheffield(13-4-2) 2-1 their opponents combined record is 131-136-31 their combined goals scored-123 and goals allowed-9 they have beated USJ twice 2-0 and 3-0 some of their closest wins were to- Jackson Madison Academic Magnet School- 2-1 in OT (region semis) Jackson Christian(8-8-2) 2-0 Covington (1-8-0) 1-0 (forfeit) Henry Co.(4-7-2) 3-2 they havent been tested in any other games most of their other games were scores like 3-0 6-0 7-1 things like that. they havent played any like powerhouses or ranked teams except for sheffield who they lost to. but they obviously have a lot of kids who are not affraid to score goals. if anyone has any information about how they play and who to look out for on their team that would be greatly appreciated.

yeah...any team has a chance to win. esp. the underdogs. if CAK overlooks Grace then grace could go under the radar and make it a close game. lol yeah i know its really funny that i would say that they have a chance but you know anything could happen if you play your hardest.
