  1. last i heard it was 1-0 csas right b4 half time... they started late because csas had graduation today
  2. anybody have any predictions on how they think these games will turn out?
  3. hey...? what number are u? and yea we will play u the first round (semis) in district... good luck... hope for a great game...
  4. umm im pretty sure thats what i said earlier... i think we would all agree on that... unfortunately ooltewah frgt that they have homecoming that day or something and so they can only play in the early afternoon and so therefore the guy who puts this tourney together (girls soccer coach) decided to just do what the girls do and have two winners one from each pool.... (they actually play bracket style)
  5. yea i am to... it makes it easier on people to know when they are going to play and to be able to plan better for the schedule and teams... even though it would be nice if the two champions could play eachother but whatever works...
  6. Pool 1- CCS CPA Knox Catholic Sullivan South Pool 2- Notre Dame Ooltewah Shelbyville Central Tennessee High Friday- CCS vs Sullivan South @ 6 Shelbyville vs Ooltewah @ 6 Knox Catholic vs CPA @ 8 Notre Dame vs TN High @ 8 Saturday- Ooltewah vs Notre Dame @ 9 TN High vs Shelbyville @ 9 CPA vs CCS @ 11 Sullivan South vs Knox Catholic @ 11 Shelbyville vs Notre Dame @ 230 Ooltewah vs TN High @ 2 Knox Catholic vs CCS @ 430 CPA vs Sullivan South @ 4 Two winners determined by- 1. Head to Head matchups if tied then 2. Point total- 3 for a win, 2 for a win in Shootout, 1 for loss in Shootout, 0 for loss, 1 for positive goal differential (up to 3), 1 for shutout. if tied still then coin toss
  7. ccs is 4-2-2... wins versus cookeville, boyd, soddy, and csas ties versus ooltewah and SE Whitfield (ooltewah game ended up where they won but it was a tournament so it counted as a tie) and losses versus dalton and westminister...
  8. i think the sweetwater jamboree was good... it gave us the opportunity to see a couple of teams and play a team we might see in the tourney... the only bad thing was being the only team that had to play back to back... and then the refs didnt really abide by the rules in our last two games but besides that it was great...
  9. i am going to have to guess that the guy who started this topic is from west TN.... maybe? cause u dont know much from teams over on the east... baylor will definately be top 5 in DII, Notre Dame and Knox Catholic will definately be top 5.... Catholic has beaten every team they have scrimmage against( im pretty sure) and they have played really good teams.... and farragut will definately be top 5 in AAA...same with ooltewah.... reasons- baylor has the #1 player in chattanooga according to the chattanooga times free press ooltewah has a center mid that plays for the national team for his age and had one of the top goalies last year Notre Dame and Knox Catholic have very strong teams that are used to DII competition and when they do play DI competition they play very well against them.... so they are used to playing hard and winning games... i dont know much about farragut except they always have a good team and they have won vs. some good teams in their scrimmages this year... also... grace will not be ranked that high after losing 7 of their starters from last year i do believe... including their goalie that kept them in most games.... and also FRA lost some key players from last year... but i wouldnt be surprised if they are in the top 10 but i dont think they will be #2 material... probably not even top 5...
  10. CCS 1- Clinton 0 CCS 3- Knox Central 1 CCS 0- Lenior City 0
  11. ji sung park is an incredible player... he is like pretty much an even all around player and do almost everything... he is not at his top level yet but will be bye next year....
  12. 1.baylor 2.ND 3.CCS 4.McCallie 5.Soddy 6.Ooltewah 7.CSAS 8.Red Bank 9. 10.Grace
  13. wow... i love the A/AA this year... it is going to be great to play in for my last year of soccer... a lot of tough competition... we got the usual teams that will compete and then we the two new teams coming in that will add to it and then there are always the underdogs that are ready to spoil someones state wishes... this year there will be no joke of a game during state or regions... good luck to all teams competing and i cant wait to see all you guys at the state tourney...
  14. which team this year is the most improved team from last year?
  15. which team this year is the most improved team from last year?
  16. a guy from CCS wrestled last year as an 8th grader and place in a tourney or two and almost made it to state...in his first year wrestling... look for him to definately go to state this year...
  17. yes kyle left ccs and went to david brainerd...his brother graduated and his parents didnt like some coaching issues so they made him leave...or he wanted to leave... but i think that they made him...
  18. i think that the "surprise" team from this district could be Chattanooga Christian... they lost a few players from last year's team... so the surprise could go either way depending on how they fair... if they win the district or region it would be a surprise and if they do bad it would be a surprise...either one... i think they will finish 2nd in district and 5th in region
  19. i believe chattanooga christian will be one of (if not THE) top teams in this district.... i know the boys team of howard is usually good but i forget how the girls fair... and then i dont know much about the other teams since chattanooga christian hasnt really played them much
  20. so who do you think are the top teams in the chattanoogan area? which teams from the area do u think will reach the tournament in each division?
  21. id rather not drive 35 minutes just to get to nashville im sorry... and i agree with the whole not playing at a park because then the fields...if anything like memphis are not so good...especially if select teams play on them so much... i didnt mind playing at memphis too much... the fields werent to great but everything was nearby and there were plenty of things to do for those lucky to get the free day... but im not too worried about the entertainment part that much because from chattanooga we will prob. go back to school on that friday... so... and besides it would be better if u could stay concentrated.... i guess... even though its some great memories spending time with the boys away from home.
  22. knox catholic won 2-0 with both goals coming in the last like 7 minutes... (the second with one minute and like 30 seconds left
