  1. CampbellCountyman.84, i have a question for you. i would like for you to name me the offensive lineman that are making up that average of 260 pounds. the biggest ones that i know of are Joe Whitaker and Curtis Hoskins, please fill me in on the others. thanx for the compliments guys, just keeping up with things and being honest with my thoughts. lata Shaunman
  2. JKAR, you wanted someone from CC land to give a game by game breakdown and i will be a junior at CCHS this year and keep up with football a lot even though i don't play so i'll give it a shot. at Morristown East--personally i think that this will be a tough game for us because it is the first game and it is on the road against a middle difficulty class 4A team. i see the cougars playing close but probably losing. at Jefferson County--i see this game as a game where CC will be lucky to keep it within 2 touchdowns being honest. i would love to see my Cougars take down Jeff County, but i just don't see it happening. Clinton--i think that this is the first win for the cougars as long as they keep their heads on their shoulders, we are still CC, we aren't good enough to overlook anyone. South-Doyle--i think that this will be a close game with CC winning because Coach Hutchins hasn't had enough time to get the game speed down with his new system although i do agree that this is a team on the rise and in the upcoming years will be a team to look out for. Scott County--i personally don't see anything that will stop the cougars here except for their heads getting too big and them beating themselves. without Jeffers and Boshears Scott didn't have much last year. at Sevier County--this is one game that i think will be another close one for the cougars. it's an away game which just makes all that much tougher. i see us beating Sevier County behind special teams play. i think whoever wins special teams wins this one. Bearden--this is a game that i see being close also. i think that Bearden will come in with a chip on their shoulders since the cougars beat them last year on their homecoming. i think that the cougars have the talent and discipline to beat the Bulldogs in this one. at Science Hill--last year CC scared Science Hill but ended up losing the game on a blocked punt that was returned for a touchdown that got called back because of a cheap shot by a CC player. that is where discipline comes in. i see Science Hill beating the Cougars here. Dobyns-Bennett--what can i say, i don't have much hope here. the Indians are just too strong. CC loses to D-B at Karns--i think that this game will be within 2 touchdowns but i think that Fulkerson's team will be able to use the wishbone and beat CC again this year. final record--5-5 region--3-4 tell me what ya'll think
  3. CampbellComan, what is your name?, j/w
  4. rebelron, woods is going to be a senior this year and russell graduated last year and we to Tusculum i think to play as a defensive back
  5. hey, i was just wondering what you all know about Matthew Duncan and Brad Funk. all i know is that Duncan is going to be a junior and Funk is going to be a sophomore. thanx for ne info you give me.
  6. i know i'm biased from Campbell County, but i think that Chris Johnson could make a difference for the cougars this year if he doesn't get hurt. he's the hardest hitter on the team and also the fastest player on the team. only problem is he's going to be playing both sides of the ball so he might start to get tired in the 4th quarter. some people saw him last year and didn't know anything about him and just know him as "the fast guy" we'll see how he does this year.
  7. cdragonz123, Chris Johnson is #26, Erik Summers is #8 and skunk, yes he is back to 100% now. i think that a move to 4A is what we need, but i doubt that it will happen. i admit tlove13 that wins will be tough, but i think that at least this year we have a chance to win.
  8. yes, he will be returning as a junior this year. his name is Chris Johnson, if he doesn't get hurt, i think that that name will be known by the end of the year. he's gonna do some damage on both sides of the ball. if he doesn't get hurt
  9. BIGR35, i admit that Morristown East is one of the more far-fetched realistic possibilities for my cougars to beat, but it is a possible victory, i have read some of your other posts concerning Morristown East and i think that you need to come down to earth on how good your team is.
  10. cdragonz123, i'm afraid that i think that you are very wrong, Clinton is in turmoil right now with the coaching changes and such and the talent just isn't as good as the past. i guess we'll see when we play you all, but i think it'll be another cougar victory with Chris Johnson running all over you all again this year.
  11. well, first of all, sadly to say the Campbell County record is 4 wins in one season, we have never been a football school, but i think that the program is on a slight rise from the past because there is a little more talent there and Coach Wells and Wampler are doing a pretty good job with the program. the reason i give us a shot at SD is because they are our 3rd game of the year and i don't know if the coach will have his system set in by then. but i am slightly biased considering i am a student at CCHS
  12. how do you all think Campbell County will do this year in the region? I think with a little bit of luck and no major injuries they might be able to go 6-4 and 3-4 in the region, beating Sevier County, South-Doyle, and Bearden in the region, and Mow-town East, Clinton, and Scott County non-region. do you all think that this is possible for the cougars this year?
  13. well, the reason that AC hasn't been good since the Price twins is they haven't been able to get all of the good players from Campbell County in the last few years. They haven't been able to get Chris Johnson. The last great players that they got from CC was the Price twins even though they have gotten some good players from CC lately a.k.a. Sean Mounts. that's my take on AC
  14. I'm new to track this year as a sophomore and I was just wondering what a good starting time is for a competitive beginner runner at the 400 meter run. thanx in advance
  15. Hey, i was just wondering how far ya'll think that Campbell County can go in the tourney's. They come out of a tough district and region, but do you think that they could possibly pull off an upset and somehow make it to the semi-finals of the regions? I know that they don't have the prettiest record in the district, but they have lost to some tough teams. Oak Ridge twice, Powell twice, South-Doyle twice and Maryville once and once in a game to Halls in which they didn't play well in the first half. How good do ya'll think they are?
  16. I know that the flu outbreak is affecting everyone around, but i'm from Campbell County so i will just say that i think the CC-Central game is going to be made closer than it should because 4 of CC's 5 starters have the flu. i will still say CC by about 5-10 points. what do you all think?
  17. i think that the kid that you are thinking of from Anderson County is Jared Laverdiere. spelling of last name may be wrong. just to throw in a name
  18. AE, he is a senior this year. he will have to sit out until Dec. 13, but the first game for CC after that date is Dec. 19. i dunno
  19. Chill, what do you think about Campbell County this year? Their only loss has been to a very good Rhea County team. I underestimated the skill of Rhea County. Do you think Campbell County can be in the top 3 of District 3AAA?
  20. I was wanting to know just how good Darnell Huston was for Austin East last year. they tell me he is pretty good. thanx
  21. This year Campbell County is much improved with especially strong guard play. They have 3 guards who in the South-Doyle game held the South-Doyle trio to 15 or less points a piece and beat South-Doyle. They showed that they have heart in their win over Sevier County by coming back from a 17 point deficit going into the 4th quarter. winning by 5 there. I would go as far as to say Campbell County by 5.
  22. Campbell County's boys team looks much improved over last year's team. They have won a come from behind victory over Seiver County in which they were down by 17 points going into the 4th quarter. They have beaten South-Doyle's highly touted trio also. What do you'll think? how far will they go?
  23. Campbell County scores again and it is 13-0 Cougars in the first quarter
  24. Campbell County is up 7-0 in the first quarter!!
  25. well, all i have to say is that Campbell County is good enough to win the game but they will need some touchdowns. D-B is a great team but they will have to show up at this game too cause CC is hungry. it ain't smart to post scores like that.
