FOR the previous two post: #1 Clarkrange has showed good sportsmanship. The cheerleaders would never INTENTIONALLY do what you just accused them of doing. Neither would Celina's cheerleaders. Clarkrange is even more fired up for District too. #2 Sunbright has a good team this year from what I hear. My wife works with the coaches wife and they have lost some heartbreakers, some real close ones. Clarkrange obeys the rules about practicing during the set period. They do not practice year round. I am not sure how you make that accusation. Come on guys, Celina and Clarkrange have a great rivalry, one of the best in the state. Don't make negative comments that tarnish the rivalry.since 1983, clarkrange or Celina has been in the state finals 10 times out of 19 seasons i believe. I expect one to be there again this year.

DAWG05, I was real happy to beat you guys. You all came in undefeated, and I do not care what the AP poll says, to me Celina was the top team in the state in single A. Yeah there is a lot more work to be done, but for now we own a share of the Tri-Lakes Championship, are we suppose to just be HO HUm about that. Again, Congratulations Lady Buffaloes! I am proud of you all.

Wow! Things heated up! Just want to say hi to Buffy42 (!). Ya GOOSEVOL, 4A was strong last year, I just said that because we had so much FUN debate last season. Everyone needs to drop the grammar thing. Everyone make typing errors. I want to defend Michelle Snow- she is too sweet a girl to be talked bad about. Proud to see no one is taking cheap shots at the Wright girl. From what I hear, from a former association of hers, she is a great girl too. I am just proud that our district has two such awsome players- they are both Division 1 considerations! I think Snow is having a great season, but she will be the first to tell you that she is not "OUR TEAM." I am super proud of how this team, all of them, have worked hard together, they play for each other, not for themselves. They are a great group. Last night they had a huge win, even the press is calling it "lopsidded." It was. It will probably be closer next time, but I stand by my earlier statement that Clarkrange is better. celina has a better record, but I guess the only tough team they played was FRA according to you guys. FRA got beat last night too. I bet they are good, but we know they are beatable. Anyway- great day to be a Lady Buffalo Fan! Way to go girls!

We don't always see eye to eye on Midd Tenn vs. East Tenn but you are right on GOOSEVOL. I am bad to blame refs too, but this was a 16 point win, hard for the stripes to cause that big a deficit without being in some major trouble with tssaa.

I think Celina has great team, Wright is a great player, Donaldson is a great player, Sims is a great coach, etc. Man, we don't need respect from the likes of you if you don't want to give it. If someone beat me like that, shoot if anyone even plays with this group, like Monterey this season, I have a whole lot of respect for their team, because I know they could beat us and I do not want to see the girls loose. For years, there are a "few" people from Celina who don't respect our players and our programm- that's fine. We'll just keep trying to get it done on the court. Congrats Clarkrange on a stellar win! You dominated the top single A team in the state- that's impressive.

Livingston took it to us at the tournament. I don't speek for everyone. I said earlier in the year. These teams have to play with the refs. You play like they are gonna call it. It seems to be a big part of the game. I don't think the refs took either of those games from us at Livingston, but that's just one guy talking and one guys opinion. Oliver Springs and Livingston just kicked our butts. Now we will see if we can even play with Livingston, we did with Jackson County, so we should be able to. This whole ref thing just needs to be canned. Celina got drilled, live with it. Just proud that our girls got to be the ones to do it. Since when do the Livingston folk jump on the Celina wagon? The first loss of the year is hard, it was for us too, you guys enjoyed our first loss! I thought Celina deserved to be the #1 team in the state, now I think another team comes in and just beats them bad, then they deserve it. Just happens to be Clarkrange, if FRA or Friendship had done it like they did, I would have put them at #1. [Edited by BuffaloFan on 1-15-03 10:27A]

I would like to stress the fact that Michelle was not the only player that blew Celina out. Kari Jones has really been awsome this year. Erica Whittenburg has been awsome too. She is a leader. And we have probably 2 of the best freshmen around with Jordan Ramsey and Miranda Cravens. I also have been really impressed with Jaclyn Upchurch, she is gonna make a good player, she has been kinda under the weather too. Monica Payne has been really making a difference on defense. Clarkrange knows how to play some team ball. They are in it for each other, you can tell it. we are proud of all of them. They got it done together.

I still think they are about 15 better, they just got in this slump against them and started getting intemidated. That's over now! You guys could have came up to Clarkrange and got beat by 40 points and still not show any respect towards our girls. When you loose, the bad calls stand out. There was not 16 points worth of bad calls in that game.(on either side of the ball) I also still think Snow is MVP this year.

Great night to be a Lady Buffalo fan! Celina will have revenge on their mind come tournaments, but it's hard to shake a beating like this, Clarkrange will have the edge, the dominated tonight. Go get Livingston Saturday! I will get to be home to watch that one. Proud of you girls.

I know the polls don't mean anything, but I think most of us agree Celina was #1 and now I think Clarkrange should be. Total domination by the Lady Buffaloes. Celina beat FRA, they beat Friendship, those are two top ten teams I think. These AP polls are crazy right now, let's try to sort them out next week. Clarkrange has wins over Jackson Co., Brentwood Academy, Harpeth, Cumberland Co. (twice) and Celina. They have played one of the harder schedules and their district is tough this year. Clarkrange deserves those 6 first place votes Celina got last week!

I know how good Celina is and all, no disrespect, but Clarkrange handed them one tonight. Congrats girls. Clarkrange had 4 starters in double figures and did just what I thought they should have done. I thought they were about 15 better than Celina and this proved me right. Again congrats to the Lady Buffs, they played well enough to beat what I believe was the Number 1 team in Class A by 16 and from what i hear it could have been by even more! First loss of the year for Celina who has played a descent schedule with FRA and Friendship Christian. Clarkrange 61 Celina 45

Good Luck Lady Buffs! Beat Celina- People may be tired of hearing about Celina, but they are undefeated and theydeserve the recognition they are getting! Go Clarkrange!

I heard Clarkrange ran away with this one. They were up by like 18 late. Is that true, what was the final score? It must have been a good night on the range?!

Wartburg will be a good matchup for us. I am anxious to play them. Who will make up for SUSAK kingbrian? Is Wartburg the top team over there this year?

The girls really had to play their hearts out tonight. I hear that Jones did a great job. You Freshmen are awsome- take this in, this is what Clarkrange basketball is all about. You guys keep working hard. You're doing great. Snow and Whittenburg- you really deserve this!!!!!!!I am so proud of you guys. You guys are, at least for tonight, the best team on the plateau!

I have always wanted my own thread guys!!! and I have resisted long enough. I have to tell the girls how proud I am of them. News traveled to Birmingham about the win very quickly. My parents were very excited- can't wait to talk to sis. I was at work, but would have gave anything to have been there to hugged your guys necks. You really made the statement I told you that you could. Congratulations.

Just wanted to say congrats to these ladies on a 6-0 start. Everyone is happy to see these gals doing so great, they are a great group. Go TATE #3!
