Christopher is the most talented player in Class A and should win Miss Basketball. She also has a great academic standing which should be taken into consideration. She may be the best player all around in the whole state. Now, I am not dissing my own girls....I think we have 2 or 3 players that could be a finalist, but we are more balanced than Oliver Springs and Jackson County this year, and I am sure the girls would rather win state as a team than win Miss Basketball individually. I expect Christopher and Laken Leonard to both be finalist....I just wonder who the third will be. If CR and OZ make it back to M-buro, I hope we do not draw them in the first round......but I am sure you guys would agree that a lot of things will have to fall into place for both teams to even make it back.

anyone know if there is a radio station that will carry the Oz - Clarkrange games today??

While FCS is much improved, I must agree with the JC folks (did I just say that..)....I can't see them topping a 7A team, especially the top 3, CR, JC, or Clay County, in tournaments. 8A is down this year, and next year RBS may take this district.

Gordonsville is the hardest team to scout in Class A this year...one night, they are playing like a top 10 team, then the next night they can turn around and play like a elementary team...what's the deal with their inconsistent play???

after a setback due to weather...how do you guys see this one shaping up? We have to limit touches by Christopher and Hannah Green specializes in such situations....

Colter is as tough as they come. I like to see her play....she can have some awsome hot streaks from outside.

LA is putting it together here lately. Kilgore is versatile and may be the key to this game. This will be a close game, but JC stretches it out at the end and wins by 8.....

I was disappointed in the drop to #5 in the poll as well, but I guess they are rewarding good play by Wilson Central and Hillsboro at our expense...lol. Clarkrange vs. Upperman would have been a good game for both teams this year. Upperman's speed might have hurt us, but then again our size and athleticism on the block might have hurt them.

RBS by 5. Colter is tough, Monterey's D will keep it close..

Trap game????? Clarkrange better be ready.....they will now play 6 games to close the season in only an 8 day span....

There was some UK people there, but dont think it was Mitchell. There were several college scouts at this game, but as we said, not a lot of offense to see if thats what they were looking for... due to two solid defensive efforts. No stalling, just patience by both squads. Very smart teams CR and JC.

Tori Lowe played very good tonight for Clarkrange.

It will not surprise me if these teams play 3 more times this year. Good game.

You need to take a step up (not stooping down) to be on our level this year. And thanks for starting this thread, it makes the win even sweeter. Good game by both teams, some of the best defense you will find in high school girls basketball...to play that tight and only have 27 total fouls.

Clarkrange girls had a great tournament. Big wins over some good teams. Congrats to the Lady Buffaloes! There was a lot of support from area teams during the tournament consolation and finals for Livingston and Clarkrange. Good job Upper Cumberland...

Clarkrange and Livingston also won...LA by 5, Clarkrange by 12....good day for area teams.

I would just like to thank the Jackson County fan who sent me the "silver" polish in the mail this week. Very funny...I do hope to pay you back somewhere down the road......lol This will be a good game, lots of defense I expect...and yes it will be crowded. Looking forward to it. Go Lady Buffaloes!

Looking forward to this game. Should be a good one. We have to limit Christopher's touches and rebound the ball to be successful against OZ. Should be a big crowd for this game.
