WC looked great even without Lopez. i think he'll be back during week 3 or 4. big kudos to the WC linebackers for stopping everything Hendersonville threw at them. Wildcats are going to make tons of noise in region 4 this year.

mission trip is going great, i love Japan and i will be sad to come back to TN. but back to football....i only know what i`ve heard through the grapevine so it may not be 100% true. lebanon will have a new strength coach. he supposedly spent a few seasons with the KC chiefs. my brother said he`s huge. i think their maybe one more coach leaving to go to a county for more money and i cant blame them because wilson co. pays their teachers crap. when i come home i will findout for sure.

i wish i knew what was going on with the LHS football team, but i am in Japan for the next month or so doing mission work but i will start posting reports when i get back

their QB is no joke. in the playoffs against Lebanon he had a few passes(some dropped) that went well over 45 yards into or off the recievers hands. he seemed to have really good vision and usually found his best option since he was under pressure all night when he did drop back.

great game today between riverdale and lebanon. lebanon lost 4-1. Big props to RHS for taking the title from blackman. the center ref in this game lost total control of this match and if it had started earlier someone could have gotten seriously hurt. final standings should be how i posted the before with RHS vs. WhCo. BHS vs. OHS WaCo. vs. SHS CHS vs. LHS

yes if the blackman game was a tie and RHS wins today then the warriors win the number one seed.

points are easier to post than records. 3 pts for win 1 pt for tie. of course blackman is the clear front runner if they haven't been beaten. they also havent played all their games when that was posted.

i don't think anything that has happened to MJ this year is luck at all. these guys have earned everything. from what i've seen they have a large group of seniors and a very talented group of backs (and bubba) that i think will take them at the very least far in the region tourney if not maybe farther. this is coming from a Lebanon alum

i saw siegel play 2 games last year and i saw a huge improvment from one game to the next. they stopped lebanon's first team offense twice in the second half before the drive even got started. i think if they can get their recievers to catch the ball next year(because one of them was plenty fast) they can win 2 games in the region next year. you may very well be right that LHS will be 4 and SHS be higher, but i don't see how you can lose that much talent and move up from 3 to 2 or 1.

cat i have to agree with you that he got screwed. i've seen him play twice. this kid should get a shot at playing SS for somebody, people at the 1-AA level would be nuts not to at least let him come workout. TTU should have given him a scholarship. i know that this whole thing can be very frustrating. my brother had some looks from 1-AA schools but they all beat around the bush then said we want you to walk on. he's going to play at CU in lebanon next year and he couldnt be happier. the new coaching staff has been nothing short of amazing in how they have helped him get ready for next year on the field and in the classroom.

moose did nothing with the kids that played for lebanon last year and embarrased your beloved Oakland for yet another year. he stayed as far away from the freshman as possible. almost all of his coaching staff was gone too. how in the world can you be so blind. his great workout program that you think is the best thing since sliced bread got the boot the second coach brown walked in the door. he sold a lot of the equipment that moose brought in, and i think if you ask anyone they will say that past 2 years at lebanon is much better and stronger than anything that happened while marshall was there and how things have been at OHS since he got there. don't open this can of worms again because just like every other time you did you pump out info that is not true and unreliable because you were not there for any of that. lebanon won the weightlifting competition at riverdale again lebanon will be in the top 4 in the region this coming fall. they now have a coaching staff in place that is starting to not have to rebuild but just reload. of course it is going to be tough to replace 9 senior starters on offense, but when you had a backup fullback and tailback that were just as good as your starters it doesn't matter. the line will not miss much at all. the 3 players that will be the toughest to replace will be billy bates, matt boles, and todd cross. i see the region like this RHS- until they get beat they stay here WCHS- coach stays as well as that backfield, they are for real LHS- remember the names gaines and tribble scoring behind that big line lead by michael jordan SHS- too much is staying to drop farther OHS- i think will barely miss out, they have a ton of players staying but can experience translate into Ws SHS- finished strong last year and see them going nowhere but up LHS- same as every year BHS- these guys have 1 player and i feel so sorry for him

you people at hampton have no idea about the TC jackets. if they can compete against LA, Smith Co., and Portland they will have little to no trouble beating the mess out you guys and everyone else in 1A. I'm not a TC fan, but i'm from Lebanon and i've seen what coaches from there can do for a team. we got one of their old assistants as our head coach (bobby brown). that place lives and dies with their football team. you guys are going to get hit by a train if you are lucky enough to get to play them this year, and if that train runs you over don't come back on here to lick your wounds because everyone here will say you were warned. whoever is typing in all caps please stop

WCHS is having a really down year. expect a big win from the bulldogs.

that one player from LHS should have been red carded. so should have you and the player he fouled and anyone else who was "going after" him. i think the fan that almost came onto the field was just protecting his family , but he should've been ejected from the park. i was the guy in the black tee shirt getting ready to pull him off of you if he had came out there, and i was the one that yelled at your sweeper for what he yelled at the fan and at the lebanon player.

trying to pick fights with players, screaming at the refs, going after guys after hard fouls, but the worst by far was the racial slur i heard from a defender. you can't say that none of this happened because i am only posting what i heard. the only thing i heard out all but one of the lebanon players was shut up. believe me, if i heard anything more from lebanon i would call them out too.

if you would have bothered to read my post where i said i was ashamed of my own player that would solve a lot. i just said that blackman's display of class on tuesday was the worst i have ever seen on a soccer field(as a team i have seen much worse from individual players). maybe i've be lucky.

i watched you guys play lebanon and was very impressed with bubba. your outside mids were very good at tracking back but didn't get any "nasty" shots. the D was where i saw tons of improvement over other MJ teams. they will take you guys a good way this year.

to say that class means nothing means a ton. when you walk onto the pitch you represent yourself, your school, teammates, and your entire program. if i was an alumnus of blackman i would have been disappointed with the players yesterday just like i was with one of Lebanon's players who should've been red carded. all i stated was that blackman's players displayed a lack of class that disrespected their program and the game of soccer. i never knocked their talent, I just said they are not as good as Brentwood or Tullahoma. i haven't seen anyone else better play. i'm sure science is better jordan don't worry about your grammar and spelling. i'm a junior at mtsu and spell check for papers is my best friend.
