yes I agree. He was a major contributor to that team. He was also one of the all-round best athletes on that squad. I also think it is great that he is into coaching. I just want to wish him luck in school and hope to see him in the coaching ranks very soon.

jefferson co. has just built a new indoor facility, but they are waiting on electricity for it. It is about 20yds. wide by 35yds long and very nice. Sevier co. has an indoor batting cage and a room to throw two pitchers off a portable mound. Pigeon forge high has an indoor facility similar to the one jeff co just built. Still wish we could get on the field

jennings did have knee surgery. I think it stemmed from an injury during football season. No word on how things went, I just know he had surgery.

It seems that jeff co has a pretty good staff to go as deep into the playoffs as they did. It was a turnaround from the first of the season. That is hard to get on track after a slow start. I think they did a good job with the kids. Hats off to the entire staff!

who was your qb that year? Was that the same year of the sopm. rb Andre Williams? That '92 team was loaded with talent. Probably would have been eventual state champs.

olineathlete, Jefferson Co. is east of knoxville. They are a 5A school that is in region 1 with the likes of Kingsport DB and Sevier Co. Look for jeff to upset DB and finish 1st in that region.
