LC is and will continue to improve. They have a good core of young players that are tough kids and quick learners. They will compete in their district, but may not win as many as they lose. Like it was said, LC is looking for constant improvement and that is their measure of success right now.
Rocky Riley- OL Alcoa
Trey Ondrus- Asst. siegel
Jon Hutchins- Asst. Pigeon Forge
The Brimers- wherever they went
Is David Cagle coaching in GA as well?
That is all I can think of right now.
Any word on when they are going to post this job opening? Or have they already? If so, when are interviews taking place? Are there any names floating around?
Trey Ondrus from siegel high in the boro, Chad Cox is at a 1A school in Virginia, the man Quarles at Maryville and I think his brother, Taylor coaches as well, Chris Woods and Bill Delozier at Maury Middle.
Bizazz, you are not too fuzzy on your memory. You are right on target. It is good to see you back on coacht. How are things in the college of baseball?
talent?............or lack of talent, in certain cases like yours! It is good to see you are as coordinated on the computer as you were on the field.
Good luck to all the guys still at Sevier Co. There are alot of you that I will miss!
SD has a fantastic baseball program, but in the 1st round of the district tourney Sevier co pitcher threw a 4 hitter and gave up 3 earned runs. Yes the outcome was still a win for SD, but the Book kid threw a good game and kept SD in check most of the night.
A new coach is right up their alley. Every year or two they get a new coach. I do not need to defend myself to you or anyone else. If they really needed a new coach, the administration would find one. Just some whining from some past disgruntled players doesn't warrant the need for a new coach. And the two guys the coach "ran off," one went to prom and the other went on vacation to see his girlfriend. Yeah, they sure need a new coach! That is the root of the problem with the sevier co baseball program.
District tourney starts today and there is no mention of scores? Where are all the 4AAA fans? On the South Doyle side, SD defeats Sevier Co. 5-2 in a good game. How did things go at Farragut and on the 2nd game at SD?
West and Sevier beat each other and no one else in the district. The next tie breaker would have been who beat who in the district, that is out. Next tie breaker is the coaches draw and Sevier wins that. Therefore Sevier is 7th and West is 8th. The Farragut pool seems like the more favorable of the two. If there is a favorable one!
