There should be no complaints about Monterey keeping in their starters against Pickett. As far as i can remember, last year when Monterey was getting beat by them by almost 50 in the third quarter Pickett put thier number one player, Joseph Bailey, back in just so he could beat the three record. If anyone needs to learn some sportsmanship, it is Pickett. When they can beat someone they slaughter them.

I don't see that happening after thier season. How about football? Is he gone from that too?

Does anyone know who will be pitching for celina and RBS tonight.... Also for Pickett and Monterey. Should be two very good games. Good luck to everyone.

All this bickering and stuff doesn't matter, no one other than clarkrange has a chance at winning the Districts this year. RBS, Monterey, Celina, Pickett you all should just hang it up, we all know that the district championship and maybe state belongs to clarkrange

Actually the score was 16-0......HS only had the bases load one time...and that was from walks NOT hits..... Their TN Tech prospect #3 throws heat at about 45-50 mph.... So if your from tech don't waste your gas money to go to HS and see him....Nothing special

Thats one way to look at it. Another way is that Monterey beat Pickett by about 9 or 10 runs each time in the regular season. And lost to them with trown togther pitching in the district tourn. By one run with the tying run thrown out at home to end the game. Whatever! None of that matters once you hit the field you know that.

i'm amazed that you would get on here and say this, its one of the dumbest things i've seen in a long while, celina's coach should be fed up with his people giving other teams bulliten board material. all you've done is make g-ville even madder and i personally hope and think they will come out and wipe the floor with you. then i will laugh even harder at your hillarious post

Sorry but i disagree, i think Gordonsville has a huge advantage anytime your playing at thier place. It's hard to play up there. Especially with thier crazed fans. Last game i saw up there was Gordonsville vs. Greenback and just some of the things i heard outta the stands were "come on boys rip his head off" and "come on ref if your gonna let them hold us like that they at least gotta take us to a movie first" those old alumni hate to see thier boys lose and love to make it as hard as they can on the opponents. This game is huge for both teams. Gordonsville has alot of tradition riding on it too. Playing for the teams of the past's pride as well as thier own. I mean when was the last time a G-ville team didn't make the playoffs. Well if they lose this game they have a REAL possibility of not making them. And trust me thier next game celina will be no pushover either. Regardless of all that i take Watertown by 13!

#7 is pretty good. I heard they lost abunch of people for one reason or the other.

If watertown beats gordonsville then monterey vs. watertown will be for second in the region. but if they lose and monterey wins this week then i believe Monterey will be second regardless of how week ten works out. Is that the scenerio? What is every one's opinion about watertown and gordonsville.

Before the game against celina and monterey. The monterey team had heard some rumours about how the Celina coach said he was gonna open up and intire 55 gallon drum full of whip BUTT but he didn't say butt. So i guess thats where monterey got that from...And what is this i hear about someone throwing a dog over the fence...Sounds interesting

Personaly I think Monterey needs a new head football coach...Coach Brewer just isn't getting it done.....We are now 2 and 6 overall. I hope they fire him and someone with a little common since comes to Monterey. I've talked to many of the kids and many of the parents and they say they don't really care much for him and wish they would have hired someone else. Who else has talent coming back..I'm sure red boiling should have something Clarkrange and celina and pickett should be coming back with some pretty good players too.

Good game west M you guys played a heck of a game.....Good luck with friendship they got a good team this year.....just set your mind on the game and you can beat them.......The score was 1 to 0 monterey came out pretty fired up and all but the sidearm pitcher sat them down......Monterey had its chances to score and jon phillips hit a liner into right center and the speed demon in center caught the ball......That guy was all over the place all night...he didn't let nothin get by him....good job Center........Monterey picted Jon phillips....he struck out about 5 or 6 but held West M to only 1 run and that was because the left and center fielders got a fly ball hit to them and they lost it in the lights......Good luck this year and i hope we meet up next year for a rematch
