  1. Yes, all of these young men are very deserving of the award, but I think that Herman has to win.. Goodluck to Greer at Austin Peay.. and also to Herman and Smith in the boro next week!
  2. Yes, UTC could definitely use him! He would be a starter right away down there.. And visits to Marquette and Auburn? Didnt steele from fulton sign with them (Auburn) this fall?? arent they aau teammates?.. i checked the box score from last night... 33pts, mustve handled ridgeland fairly well.. good luck to grace
  3. How's he doing this year? I havent had a chance to c him play this year
  4. brandon herman (#24) is grace's best player....he did a great job of playn defense on sexton.. and passed the ball when he needed to...u guys just dont understand the game... obviously he did well enough...bc grace won..congrats to herman and the eagles
  5. hold it.... Jeremy sexton is great... but i wouldnt say that he's "hands down" the best in the area... Ish sanders from cleveland is pretty good... and that herman kid (who I hear is getting calls from everyone in the country) is nice too.... Dont get me wrong, sexton is good.....but not "hands down"... i think these other two players who have something to say about that
  6. Brandon Herman..the kid from grace..ranked #8 in the state overall according to tnprep hoops
  7. When Herman stole the ball, NO ONE was in front of him. Patrick was jogging BEHIND him... He should have made the lay-up... he played the entire game and Im sure he was fatigued. Grace loses this game clearly b/c of coaching... How do u not box-and-1 Sexton and make somebody else beat you... he played man to man the ENTIRE game... thats poor coaching... and Grace's big men are inconsistent... when they got the ball they didn't do anything with it.. yeah they looked like All Americans against the Silverdales n Copper Basins. Where were they lastnight??.. But my point is... they lost b/c of poor coaching... box-and-1 Sexton and the game is over!!!!
  8. Reeves I totally agree with you. But this kid is a winner. Multiple games he's put this entire team on his back and has carried them to victory...I've been to several games where he's put his teammates in position to make plays and they can't finish them...but he does have to continue to trust them...some people act like he's playing with a bunch of all-stars...and is un-willing to share the ball...and he plays hard on both ends of the floor...as we saw that against csas...and maybe averages around 5asts per game...
  9. I wonder too.... but who cares??
  10. The Fuquan kid totally dominates jv basketball, so it's hard to tell whether he will make a difference at the varsity level. This was a big win for Grace. Pat played well, and Carter McMasters really stepped up, and this is what I and everyone else has been waiting to see. Herman played well also, scored 19 n had 5asts....and this kid is not a ball hawk!!!! he has to make people respect him or else teams will be able to double down on the posts...and to be honest if Grace didn't have him they would not have won, bc NO Grace guards, outside of him, can compete with any of CSAS's guards....
  11. Yes, he will. But, don't forget that he also makes a lot of those. He has been passing the ball well as of late, and that's why Grace is starting to come together and make a strong run in the district. I think they're undefeated....and they've had pretty balanced scoring in the last couple of wins...
  12. Brandon Herman at Grace can dunk. And he is by far their best player if anyone paid attention today at the playday....
