If you mean wrestling, Your right. It's great what the Bradley County teams have done, but I have never followed it that closely.

I think Bearden may be to strong for the Eagles this year. Bearden by 3 scores. RC's JV team looks good though. Bright future for allot of those kids if they continue to get better.

Slow...ha ha...CHS and BCHS both have several people that can run faster backwards than the owls can forward. They get blanked at home and still try to crow. Not even a field goal? Seriously? You owl fans gotta get outta the brainerd area more and watch some people play.

I dont think there are many Bears on coacht. I have ever only seen 2 or 3 Raider fans and maybe 1 WV fan. Holds true for just about every sport. Bradley County folks just dont seem to post much, even when they have a good team in a particular sport.

By far the worst group of "fans" on the boards. They have yet to grasp that no public school stays on top..or bottom forever. Paybacks may be on the way.

Chs looks to be the best team right now. Mcminn , Soddy and Bradley will battle for second. If someone is able to stop Cleveland's running game they can be beat.

Great game to watch. Voytik made some plays but the former Soddy running back is the MVP . 4th and 1 offsides blew the game open in the 4th. On another note, Owls seem to be on the return to the owl team of the good ol days. Safe to schedule them for homecoming again.

I wouldnt say they are even..They have two diff styles. Voytik is older and more experinced..But they both do a good job. Voytik just doesnt have a great cast surrounding him. You forget we have already watched him play since middle school..No suprises. He is a good QB.. Heres to a good injury free game.

3-8 was partly due to a new coach, and partly a lack of talent. Then again the old staff couldn't muster but about 5 or 6 wins a season . People still think of Cleveland as that 1994 team. Those days have past. By the way , Stovall is faster than Houston . Not by much, but faster. Chs may have a player or two that is more skilled, but the bears have more weapons.

Bears are to stacked at the skill positions to get blown out..Might get beat..might win..But it will be close ethier way. Bears probably have 30-35 more football players than CHS..Depth might become a factor late.Cleveland JV hasnt beat the Bears in 3 years or so.Those guys are starters now. CHS had always had a speed advantage on BCHS up until last year..But not anymore..I might even dare to say Bradley is faster as a team. Bears by 6

Being a small school hasnt hurt Alcoa vs. Maryville has it? Glad you brought up the Knox region. Alcoa won 35-31.

That would also make him ineligible to play. Thats a matter for the TSSAA. They usually check. Of course this is kinda funny coming from an Owl fan,otherwise known as transfer high. Blueraider, be advised when you reply to these Owl fans..It's usually the same person with 5 different screen names. They sometimes even argue with themselves.

They would beat Rhea,Coffee County and Walker Valley. They would not beat a top 5 ,6a team. I will go one step further..South Pitt would beat a great deal of 6a teams. You have to remember..In AAA or 5a-6a there are what 110 teams?...out of that only 10 of those are what you would consider elite..The rest are at or below average. You have probably 50 teams in 5a-6a that are terrible and most top 10 AA teams would beat them. Before Classifications thats the way it worked and you had small schools winning Championships from time to time. The same can be said for Girls and Boys basketball to. I am not a big Polk fan but they deserve the respect that some don't want to give them.

I am not a Bear fan. I go to and listen to everyone in our area.I am just a football fan. You havent even got a clue who is on what team or how they are playing. I dont know if BCHS is the 14th ranked team in the state..I guess we will find out Friday. I do know that the hooters Don't deserve that ranking they have..Win out and be 10-0..Then they will. CHS and BCHS fans dont hate each other like they did 20 years ago..I would like to see both teams succesful. A concept you have yet to grasp. Here is to an injury free game, I hope the kid's put on a great show for the expected 10,000 folks that show. I think they will get there money's worth.

Polk county would play with or beat allot of 5a and 6a teams

Cleveland will have to stop Massengale,6'4 Stovall and Houston on Offense. That's a tough order. BC will have to stop Voytik and he will have to have time to throw, They blitzed him allot last year ,I look for more of the same once again. Bear and Raider D both seem to be pretty good. Tucker Bolton for Bradley has already been mentioned for all state DB..He has 6 picks in 2 games already. Stovall set the single game receiving record last week.. Former Trojan running back that transfered to CHS has good speed and ability. Both running the Spread offense. If it comes down to a kicking game..Bears win again. One of the best special teams units I have ever seen them have. Voytik is the best passer in our area..maybe the state..but he has limited mobility..will that play a factor? Bears have two good QB's in Copeland and Bennett. Playing Polk in front of 8,000 people on the road already this year should give Bradley Central a little edge. I expect 8,000 to 10,000 people at this game.Tossup at a neutral site. Bears by 6 at home. I am just a fan of football and glad to see both teams are playing at a high level. This game should be the game of the week on every station.

If CHS beats BCHS,than I will say Cleveland has a good shot of having the best record in the district. But all they have done so far is beat the worst McMinn Central team they have had in 25 years,they are only one season removed from 3-7.I think the Owls and Bears are a step ahead of everyone right now.But time will tell. The top 4 teams are OHS,MCHS,BCHS and CHS. It's probably a tossup. Rhea County and WVHS will be battling to stay out of last place. Soddy is a middle of the road team,but good enough to beat any of the top 4 if they overlook them.

From the looks of it these are Class 3a and 4a fans talking about the game. I havent seen any BCHS people celebrating on coacht.
