  1. Bledsoe has improved since last year but I don't think he can consistently have good games if the other teams have someone over 6'3. Beau Brown does have a lot to do this year if the Chargers are going to be successful. He is my brother and I will make sure he is ready when the Chargers come to McMinn. To tell you the truth, I think McMinn's boys will win this matchup.
  2. Mike, Mike, Mike.... the good ole days of TTI Camp. From what I hear, Brandon is a traitor since he went to WV. I had already left the game when the vandalism took place, but supposebly some football players from MCHS smashed our Charger into a ball of metal. I'm glad that one high school in McMinn County has class!
  3. Yeah Mike, this is Adam. I think you are just hating on the Chargerettes because you know they are going to romp all over the Cherokees this season AGAIN! That's ok though because I support both of the high schools in McMinn County unlike the Cherokees who bash in our metal Charger after the kill us in football.
  4. McMinn Central is hosting a tournament over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Polk Co, Harriman, Peigon Forge, and McMinn Central are the teams playing.
  5. It was a very good game. The game was not that really exciting. Everyone in the stands just had that feeling that Central was in control. Seymore is a very good team though. They will cause a lot of teams problems especially with their outside shooting.
  6. I agree with bballfan2004, Beau Brown in pretty awesome. He is extremely talented and has matured a lot since last year. He played the whole 4th quarter and 2 overtimes with 4 fouls in the season opener vs. CSAS and he still didn't foul out.
  7. I believe JuJuan Smith is going to come in this year highly underated and is going to surprise some people this season.
  8. McMinn Central needs their lone senior to step up and lead his team. They are a very young, and inexperienced team and I think their success lies on his shoulders.
  9. Last night, the Chargers won in double overtime 79-71. It was a really good game. Central didn't play their best, but they got the job done. This year is a rebuilding year for Central, but so was last year and look how far they got. By the end of the year if Central can learn to be a better defensive team, there is no telling how far they will go. I think it will be close between WV and CHS this year. They are both really good teams and there is no question that these will be the two best teams out of District 5AA. Good Luck CHS!
  10. I have to go with the Chargers on this one. Even though they are on the road, Coach Armstrong will have his boys ready! Chargers by 7.
