WashedUp, what exactly have these players done to you that disgusted you so profusely? Yes, they have an aura when they walk into the gym! Its called being a State Championship Team! They disrespect no one! They walk into the gym, sit by themselves, and then walk out there and win!
A cocky jerk??? Tyler is one of the most respectful people I know! He takes the time to sign autographs for 10 year olds (and 40 year olds) after games; heck, he's even made appearances at several birthday parties in the area! You can't bash him for being a competitor on the court and playing like one of the best Juniors in the nation!
Sorry, but the game has changed! ACCEPT IT!! Would you like to go back to shorts that come up to your butt and no three point line?? While we're at it, lets outlaw dunking, because we wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings! The game is better than it has ever been! I mean, we now have high school players who look to go, not only to D-1 basketball schools, but now even to the NBA straight out of high school!
Do you think Wilt Chamberlain didn't get his butt kissed while he was in high school?? Its been going on since before you were born, so don't act like it just started with my generation! (And before you even say it, NO I'm not comparing Tyler to Chamberlain!) What's killing High School basketball is not a lack of respect, but rather old men who just cant let go of their glory days! Let the game evolve! Its become much more exciting, and its the Tyler Smith's and the Corey Brewer's whose "lack of discipline" will make the game that much more exciting!
