  1. Not possible. With a 1 and 2 finish last year, wouldn't they (Ethan and Jack) be on opposite sides of the brackets?
  2. Ethan beat him 11-3 at the Ooltewah match. I'm thinking there was at least 1 stalling call against Harvey for fleeing the mat...the Invitational match was a litlle closer,4-1, but Hames was upset that Harvey didn't want to wrestle, so I don't think he feels that the Ooltewah kid gave him all he wanted. 4-1 and he cut him to give the 1 isn't a close match.
  3. Just wanted to let you guys know that my brother Roger Southerland who went by the screen name Ru4mocs passed away very unexpectedly from a massive heart attack. He was a long time supporter for the UTC Mocs, mostly in basketball. However, Roger loved all sports and was a familar face at many local high school football and basketball games. He had in past years developed a keen interest in high school wrestling as he came many times to see his nephew compete. It was a little strange to see the UTC blue and gold there with the black and gold of the Bradley faithful, but he was there to give his support.
  4. This seems like such a cruel and senseless thing to happen. Our sincere and deepest sympathies to the Miller family during this horrible thing. We are truly very sorry. Cyle and Tracy Hames Courtney and Ethan and the rest of the Bradley Wrestling Family although as I read back through this, condolences don't seem to be enough.... Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys and the rest of your family. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.
  5. Really? I heard BCB's super-secret recruiting mission was taking him to Decater. LOL Those mountain boys are tuff! And if he manages to squeeze in a stop for dinner at Lee's Resturant on Hwy 58, he's in bonus land.
  6. The only thing that gets roped off at the Bradley Invitational is the head tables. These are up in the bleachers on the left side as you enter the gym. (A good seat helps keep the table workers happy and happy table workers make for a smoother run tourny.) Now it is very true that most all of the Bradley parents and fans sit in this same section but it is in no way roped off or reserved for us. Shared space with some nice Ootewah fans on Saturday. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  7. Dear Bear Cat, I don't know if we can find room for you in the singlewide with our 14 kids, 10 hounds, and my husbands prize hog. However, we do have a camper out back on blocks that I don't think the roof leaks too bad that you are welcome to. If it doesn't rain too much and short out the drop cord that supplys the power I think you will be very comfortable. Sincerely, Babybearmom /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  8. coach, they may well come thru for you with the doublewide, but then get chintzy with the concrete blocks to hold it up with. Out there by the lake, it would take seven or eight under each corner, not to mention the dozen or so for the back steps! /motorbike.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":motorbike:" border="0" alt="motorbike.gif" /> As for the motorcycle, she'll probably just have to hold onto the back! /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  9. The Bears do sincerely thank Mr. McKenszie for his donation, but it was 1 million to the wrestling program and then 800,000$ for the middle school wrestling building. Thanks Toby! It all is deeply appreciated!
  10. No one is giving you an excuse. The REASON I gave you is that for the last 2 years when Bradley was there we were all piled up in the wrestling arena. It was not a good situation for anybody. I don't care about this year at all. /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
  11. It is not a safe situation there with wrestlers and fans crowded up on the sidelines and I am fairly sure that they were over on fire code.
  12. Or it could be that the Bears, family, and friends are tired of being crammed into the Jones wrestling arena for the duals. There isn't enough room for us let alone anyone else. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  13. Sorry ooltewah did not mean to drag you into this discussion, just using as an example of a matter of which you had no control. My bad. Just for the record, BCB left with his film. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> I am sure that every program has incidents that they would like to leave in the past. Bradley wrestling would like to consider this theft problem dead and buried. Especially since it all happened TWO seasons ago and the only wrestler involved that is still on the team is not even eligible until the region.
  14. Its not meant as a low level comment, it is just that everyone keeps bringing up an incident that was dealt with by every authority and is now past. Most of the wrestlers on this years team had no knowledge at all of anything going on and the ones that had any involvement have been punished. I was trying to give an example of how frustrating it is to keep having something brought up that has already been dealt with and that most of the team had no control over. I haven't seen any snakes or naked couples in our wrestling room anyway. How about yours?
