I believe his point was that he was a good athlete entering high school and was still denied attendance to Soddy. I went to soddy, i don't know any athlete's or cheerleaders that were really zoned for hixson that got into soddy?! If you can name two from each category i would be very amazed!

Your team is not very good and you try to pick another team that plays SD so u can cheer against SD. Are you denlron's boy or what? You 2 can't cheer for your own school so u pick ooltewah, so u can root against SD. You 2 need help. Almost 90% of your posts start out with, "I couldn't agree more" and then u bash SD. Cheer for your team, Hixson, or if u don't have anything good to say about them, keep your typing to yourself. 1. Mr. Smith and Dr. Swafford have discussed this at length and this is what they came up with. I'm sure the TSSAA was notified and agreed to the 1 game suspension, since both principles agreed. 2. Dr. Swafford wasn't assaulted. He lost his balance and fell/stumbled over the bleachers while trying to grab someone in the scuffle. 3. Give the date of the last time the cops were called to SD gym for a fight. I can give you 2 dates from the last year they were called to Hixson. Oh, that's right it wasn't your fault....hhhmmmm. 4. Case closed.

I believe the person that made the comment about him using the "N" word was referring to an incident that involved the 2 at a middle school game, not at the high school game. How about we just end this discussion. I mean how many people really need to get on here and blast this kid? Give it a rest. We get it, ya'll think the kid needs to be suspended. I don't know any numers exactly but im sure there was close to that many in the soddy game. Definitely less cuz they didn't go into overtime and have that extra amount of time to play but it was nip and tuck the whole way until about mid-way through the 4th and that is when the wheels fell off, so to speak

Or maybe they won't do that because he wasn't fighting and he was actually just trying to stop the fight. I think some people saw him near some kind of scuffle and ran with the idea that he started a fight and that he is a thug or something. Of course their team had just gotten beat and they wanted soddy's best player to look foolish.

Soddy played Brainerd very close for about 3 and a 1/2 quarters. They only lost by 9, which really doesn't show how close the game really was. Soddy was only down 1 goin into the 4th quarter. They just let the game slip away from them. sorta like ooltewah against rhea and red bank. I guess that mean's you should give soddy their props also

Also, why try and bring race into this? If someone is from soddy then there is no way they can send their kids to hixson b/c of the zoning. That has nothing to do with race. Give me a break! Nokona, I think if indeed russell was goin to stop the fight then that is pretty responsible on his part! I mean I didn't see it so i can't necessarily give my opinion but from what i hear from some people that were at the game he did enter the stands after the game but was trying to stop the fight.

There is no need for you to point that out on every thread possible. From what i heard from people there russell was just trying to stop the fight. Even if he had fought, who cares? You never been in a fight before? It doesn't make you a bad person. Stuff happens!

Welp i didn't get to make it tonight. Wish i could have. From what i heard the refs, as usual, were horrible both ways. When you said quirky im sure that is what you were refering to, right?? Im tired of watching high school games b/c of such bad officiating. Im glad soddy got out of their with a win. Im still wondering why this fight occured. From everything i have heard and seen from Russell he is a pretty good kid, so im wondering if he was provoked in some way. I hate it for him and for the team (if he gets suspended). Wouldn't the TSSAA need like a videotape or something of the fight to use as actual proof, rather than just hear-say?

As for redandwhiteforever, like i told him, pick your favorite person's rankings and pay attention to them and ignore the other ones. Not a very hard concept here gentlemen. Everyone has their own opinion as to the rankings of the chattanooga area teams and they can state their opinions if they feel the need to.

That sounds like a great game. wish i could have been there to see it. I think this district is still up for grabs b/c both ooltewah and soddy played brainerd pretty good and have a great chance at halving each series with them.

I think it should be a good game. Soddy gave Brainerd a run for their money and basically lost the game for themselves. It'll be tough for ooltewah to keep a lead on this brainerd team, they have a lot of weapons and play good team ball.
