  1. Come on purplepounder, all I've heard is negatives come out of you. I know Brent is arguably your most valuable player, but things happen and you've go to improvise and overcome. I hate that he's hurt, but even though I can't stand Central, I'd hate to see ya'll digress because of a hurt player. I know losing him really hurts, but ya'll have to pick up his weight and carry on. That should make you want it 10 times more. Good luck to ya now though! My Prediction: I don't have a dog in the fight, but I say Brainerd by 2 touchdowns. Maybe a high scoring game here!
  2. Just a few bonehead quotes from PurplePounder(and 1 from CentralBasketball). This is why you don't run your mouth like you do: "there isnt a team in tennessee that can blow central out. there are alot that can beat central but none can blow them out...not this year." "davenport will have another 150 yard rushing night. prolly not 6td's but still impressive night. despaux will have about 100 and so will medlock." "i just see central doing something that no one thought possible...run on tyner." "It's gonna be a good game, but Central has what it takes, and you can't stop Davenport, Medlock, and Despaux." - This one's from CentralBasketball! PurplePounder, sorry about saying you promised. I could have sworn you said that. But maybe it was another one of your central buddies. And CentralBasketball, you said this: "we [Central] walk the walk." THE ONLY WALKING YA'LL DID WAS UP TO THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE ON THE 2.5 YARD LINE TO TRY AND BLOCK TYNER'S EXTRA POINTS.
  3. And one more thing.... ....read my signature quote....
  4. What a night?!?! Purplepounder and CentralBasketball, you should never even sign on to CoachT again. And the only reason I say that is because you "PROMISED" a win. CentralBasketball, "Central has what it takes, and you can't stop Davenport, Medlock, and Despaux." That's an exact quote. Looks to me like they stopped everything in Harrison tonight! AND IT WASN'T EVEN CLOSE!! Good job Rams! I still agree that Central is a good team, but I'm sorry guys, you had that one coming to you. It's great to be confident, but you are the cockiest bunch of fans I've ever seen. Hopefully you learned tonight! And about recruiting....letters don't mean anything. Get a visit and then start talking on here. You can get interest letters from anywhere in the country and it doesn't mean a thing. Dang I've got to say it one more time, GO RAMS! PurplePounder and CentralBasketball, take back everything you ever said and don't ever make a promise again... ....because you got thumped tonight!!!!!
  5. POUNDERPOP, you are correct to an extent on this board...There are only 2 or 3 people exhibiting that kind of behavior on here. But more importantly than on here, I'm talking about at the actualy sporting events. I've been out of school for a couple of years, but for 4 years, everytime I played them in any sport they exhibited that behavior. Now I'm out, but I've got a sibling that plays high school athletics. And I've seen the same thing since I graduated. That is only my own observations... But to the game, I think it's gonna be a good one. I will give Central the edge. Who wouldn't? Statistically there is no reason to pick Ooltewah over Central. I can understand fans of both wanting their team to win. I say Central's got the edge going in, but I hope playing in front of the home crowd, on TV, and playing in such a hyped up game, that Ooltewah will be able to pull the upset. That's right purplepounder, I said upset....so I am giving you some props here. You should win, and if you don't it's an upset. See, I'm trying to be fair. Good luck to all!
  6. Hey purplepounder, go read my post about Central...I can't remember the name of the thread...but you just proved what I was talking about ya'lls attitude. You're just trash. 'Nuff said.....
  7. I definately won't say they are the hardest now, although they are among the top, give Blake McDade and Kyler Burke of Ooltewah another year, and both of their names will be at the top of this list. Remember, they are only sophomores now.
  8. I agree with you newballer, if McDade and Burke can stay healthy, they will definately be something to watch by the time they are seniors.
  9. Fist of all, I am an Owls fan, so I am definately pulling for Ooltewah in this matchup. Secondly, responding to one of you Central fans, there is nothing wrong in supporting your team and being confident. I agree with you, what kind of a team goes into a matchup saying they're going to lose? The thing that really spoils my opinion of Central is all of my past experiences playing against Central and watching them in various events. Their attitude always stinks, they think they're above the world, and they always have a problem with something. Their language is the worst out of any team I've ever played against. No matter what sport I've seen they always bring a trashy demeanor. BEFORE ANY OF YOU GET YOUR PANTIES IN A WAD, I want to make clear that this may not currently be the case. I am only speaking from past experience and explaining why I'm so critical of your cockiness. I'll be the first to admit defeat if you beat Ooltewah on Friday. But instead of proving to me that you can win a football game, I would like for once to see a display of character and humbleness on the field. Show me you can be a good sport whether you win or lose and then I'll never say another word about it.
  10. RED BANK--- What the heck happened? After the Ooltewah game I thought ya'll were gonna be real good???
  11. As much crap as I've given Central and the Purple Puds on here, I hope they win. They're a Chattanooga team and as long as they're not playing Ooltewah, then GOOD LUCK PUDS!
  12. Huck, I think you got some issues. I also think you only know about probably 2 or 3 of the teams. Other than that you're guessing!
  13. I don't know who you are Master, but I like you on here...
  14. As a matter of fact PURPLEPOUNDERFOOTBALL, look up an owl. It's a very fierce predator of the forest. You may laugh, but I'm seroius. I never knew it either until somebody from the nature center actually brought a Great Horned Owl to school when I was there. All joking aside, look it up sometime. As for football, I will most definately without any hesitation give you all the respect you deserve......WHEN, AND ONLY WHEN, you earn it!!!
  15. He's not supporting his team. He's "promising" basically an undefeated season. Well that's if they get by Cleveland and Tyner. You just don't do that! Expectations need to be high, but you don't promise anything. I'm glad he's so enthusiastic about it, but it will only come back to bite him in the......
  16. I agree Splinter, I think the Ooltewah quarterback situation will be very interesting. Both Higdon and Woods have exceptional talent. Higdon obviously has the edge right now because of experience, but I don't think Gatewood will hesitate to use whichever one he feels more comfortable with at the time. Look for them to both get some playing time again this week. Just like last week, if one is being more successful than the other, then he'll get the nod.
  17. You're too much for me DaVinci... ...As for the game, I'm not going to knock East Ridge because I think they are very capable of beating Ooltewah this week. HOWEVER, I think the Owls will definately come out stronger than last week knowing they have something to prove. East Ridge will definately not have another Bradley!
  18. Cleveland by at least 2 touchdowns...
  19. Flipn4OHS, you tell 'em. I'm glad Ooltewah's cheerleaders are so supportive! It's not everyday that you get the cheerleaders posting on Coacht! Keep on flipn! Ooltewah 31, East Ridge 14
  20. Bigballer123 is cracking me up..."gooder," "cornback," "run everyday after practice?" Haha, this is great. I didn't see the McCallie/Hixson game, but with a score like that, even if it was closer than the score says, that's still a LOOONG ways to go. Hopefully Hixson will do "gooder" against Baylor!
  21. MasterSplinter, Do you think the Owls young and inexperienced linebackers and secondary can contain Anderson if he gets through the line? Just a question. What do ya'll think?
  22. TYPFAN, Thank you very much. Finally a Purple POUNDER fan that I can respect on CoachT. I wish you good luck as well. I never wish Central bad luck(except for when they come to the Nest), I'm just glad you stepped up and posted a decent comment. I will now quit with the "Purple Pud" name. Good luck to ALL!
