  1. CPA became a 4th because of playing an ineligible player, and I believe they have a good chance to go all the way. I am not sure if you would count that though, because they beat the 1 from their region during the regular season.

On this site, the roster for Tyner only has 18 players. Does the roster only list starters or do they actually only have 18 players? If they only have 18 players and they are still that good with most people going both ways, im going to be impressed.
  3. Who remembers 2000? CPA beat Goodpasture 55 to 7. They never stopped. But it is not a matter of classlessness. It's a matter of our not being able to stop them. It was our responsibility to stop them in 2000 and CPA's responsibility to stop us last night. And yes, we were just trying to get a first down. Brandon Williams made a great reception and took it for a touchdown. We are not going to quit on 4th down just because we are up in the game.
  4. I don't really get it? Is he a hard hitter too?
  5. Ok, the racist comments were made. That was reported by all the freshmen, as well as the two seniors that stayed in the freshmen cabins. They came in your door because of the rock throwing and name calling. It was hailing then because it took a while for the seniors in that had stayed with the freshmen to go get the other seniors, but the rock throwing and name calling had happened earlier. As to the fans, i wasn't there and i stayed out of the hail so i can't really say. And why would the seniors turn in the freshmen for doing that if it had been something we told them to do. It simply doesn't add up because we would have all gotten in trouble for it. Plus we seniors know that coach martin knows all the Westm. coaches and they would let him know what happened. We aren't that stupid. Sorry, but we didn't tell them to do anything at all like that, they did it on their own. It is sad that it happened, but we did our best as a senior class and a team to make up for it.
  6. That is a nice picture.
  7. A coach will often run plays that don't work well rather than the ones that will work. The point of the scrimmage is to improve the weak points not to put points on the board. However, i do feel that you can tell which team is more physical and has the better attitude from a scrimmage.
  8. the one from goodpasture is currently out with a pulled hamstring
  9. I have seen BA's free safety lay some nice hits. He is a really small guy and his explosiveness impressed me. He was laying out people twice his size. I heard he was only a sophomore too. Goodpasture's OLB travis has made some nice hits too. He is 5'9 210 and solid. He is the kind of guy that really likes to drive a guy into the pavement (hypothetically speaking of course, because there is no pavement in football). He is really tough too. I bet this guy would fight with nails. And who can forget DA's brandon gaines.
  10. Our two freshmen cabins were surrounded by the cabins of other schools. Some other school decided to take advantage of this and stole things from the freshmen. Our seniors decided to go ask questions about what happened with the other teams. Westmoreland decided that they wanted to wait until after our seniors left (all except two) and start talking trash to the freshmen (really manly). They were shouting racial slurs as well as other things and throwing rocks at the cabins. Our seniors returned and they once again shut up. We figured it was over. As we were leaving our seniors found out what had been done by the freshmen, and we decided on our own to tell the coaches. We could have left, but as seniors we knew that wasn't the right thing to do and things had to be taken care of. Just an added piece of information, two of the three freshmen involved were African American, and had taken offense to the raciest remarks made by Westmoreland. Although this does not justify such behavior, it does explain why it happened. Racism isn't something to joke about, and it is a behavior that should be punished. Sadly, these freshmen went about things all the wrong way. They have been punished and learned their lesson. Oh, and another thing, two of the freshmen were also new to our school so i suspect that they had not learned what is acceptable here. They now know. We have apologised, we attempted to make things right, and this is in no way an example of what is taught to the kids at GP.
